Hello GAF I need to come up with some advice for that friend of mine.

There's this super cute girl he keeps hanging out with. She obviously loves spending time with him and even got into Rock Band so she could play with him.
Still, he friendzones her even though they occasionally chill together in the same bed and watch Netflix while she cuddles with him.

What should I tell him to make him ask her out.

(I talked to the girl and yes indeed that's what she'd want but she's too shy)

She should have a sense of self-respect for herself and either resign to a seemingly perpetual state of somewhat friendship or ask him out herself despite any shyness.
Otherwise he is under no obligation to alter his behaviour.
I too thought this thread would be on the Netflix and chill phenomena. Or rather, a person who was ignorant of it.

This complex situation requires a complex solution. First of you need to elimante the girl from the picture for a fews days so leave a trail of her favourite sweets into your basement and wait until she follows them, then lock her down there. Then you need to break her into her house and steal her make up and clothes. Apply the make up and put on her best dress and learn her mannerisms. Once you have this down meet up with your friend as you pretend to be the girl. Now you are at the steering wheel and when you are ready you can finally seduce him, but when he is about to enter you quickly tell him you need to 'powder your nose' first powder your nose then sneak out of the bathroom window and run home, release the girl from basement and send her into his ready and open arms. Oh and hopefully you fed her.

Who said he should do that? He should tell her he's not interested and just wants to be friends. Then if she still wants to hang out, they continue to hang out.

A friend in our group has done the same thing with the sexes being flipped. We called her out for it.
