Hello GAF I need to come up with some advice for that friend of mine.

There's this super cute girl he keeps hanging out with. She obviously loves spending time with him and even got into Rock Band so she could play with him.
Still, he friendzones her even though they occasionally chill together in the same bed and watch Netflix while she cuddles with him.

What should I tell him to make him ask her out.

(I talked to the girl and yes indeed that's what she'd want but she's too shy)

no, it's one phrase... netflix and chill... if she just comes over for netflix, then all you are doing is watching netflix... if she comes to chill, then all she is doing is relaxing... but if she is there because you asked for netflix and chill, that means you are putting on netflix, hoping to get it in.

As for this Netflix and Chill craze, I can no longer say "I'm watching Netflix alone" without some clever asshole saying I'm Netflix and chilling by myself. I need new friends.
