Netflix is testing adding a button to skip show's intros.
I saw this. Don't tend to use it for House of Cards but I do skip the intro manually when I'm watching Deep Space Nine with my girlfriend. So I can see why this would be useful. I assume they can't have it for every show though, for credit-related reasons.

Just to make sure I'm not going crazy - Netflix had been skipping opening credits/songs for tv shows already, right? I had gone through Family Guy and American Dad recently and I swear it starts the shows right after the opening credits.

I'm actually curious as to if Viz Media will add more of their Toonami shows to Netflix, namely JoJo & Hunter x Hunter.

I just need to vent a bit and say that Netflix Swizerland has to be the biggest piece of shit version of Netflix out there.

-It's more expensive than in every other place I've lived, starting at $11.90

-The amount of content is shit. According to finder.com we have 32% of Movies and 28% of Tv shows of Netflix USA (in south america, where I used to live, we at least had like 50% of the Netflix USA content)

And worst of all:

- Swizerland has 4 national languages and Netflix doesn't give a shit about that as long as 1 of those languages is supported. Almost everything other than Netflix originals are only subtitled in 1 or mabye 2 languages. Just wanted to watch The boy and the beast but they only offer italian subtitles, then I decided to check out the second season of log horizon... only subtitled in french, other stuff like The Dark Knight Rises is only subtitled in German.
Ok I get that mabye it's a small market and they have issues licencing a lot of content and that's why the selection of titles is so small. But is it really so fucking expensive to have more than 1 subtitle language available?

Anyone tried how Amazon Prime is around here?

Wait, is Bob's Burgers no longer leaving? This month looks abysmal for Netflix, with or without it. But that's the big one for me.

Only adding three of the four American Tail movies? I only learned three and four existed recently so I'd like to see Night Monster, shame they aren't adding the other one. And that is a lot of really good shows getting removed.

Checking a bunch of different site lists and on Netflix itself, it looks like the only Fox show that Netflix Canada is losing is House.

Is that possible or just that it isn't listing everything?

The lists are never a full representation of things that are coming and going.

Yeah this Netflix/Fox contract falling out is a disaster IMO, pretty much all those shows are in my regular rotation so their overall catalog takes a massive blow for me. I really hope they work that out or else yikes.

Grizzlyjin

Supersonic, idiotic, disconnecting, not respecting, who would really ever wanna go and top that
No more House MD, Buffy, or Angel?! This is getting ridiculous.

Here's the thing about the third movie for me: I loved Fieval Goes West. In fact, I'm excited to see the first two movies coming in, as I haven't seen them since the VHS days. So I see the trailers and wonder why they moved back to New York from Green River. Well it turns out the second movie is all a dream. I didn't sit through the whole movie.

Also excited for Kubo, and of course, MST3K. Hopefully they got the licensing issues done with The BFG. Need to watch The Usual Suspects and Hero before they leave.

That's true. I checked on the PS4 app and it does say House is leaving April 1st, but doesn't have the same message for Buffy, Angel, X-Files, or Arrested Development. Holding out hope for Canada, haha, since I planned on tackling Buffy and X-Files in the coming weeks anyway!

(Plus we don't get Hulu here, so it would leave these shows unattainable streaming-wise.)

Amazing lol.

The article mentions the Wexler movie being the third, shouldn't it be the fourth and the Kevin James assassin movie was the third? Or are there ancillary Happy Madison movies to that deal and Sandler-starring movies count as the four? That seems even crazier, haha.
