NetworkGAF: I need VPN help!

So with recent political developments, I'm finally going to pull the trigger on a VPN for my home internet. Setting up a VPN isn't the issue, and I have decent networking knowledge.

What I'm trying to figure out is how to keep my PS4 off the VPN since I don't care who sees that traffic and I need the best ping I can get. Ideally, everything else in the house would go through the VPN.

Is there a way to do this, or are there any better suggestions? I have access to multiple routers if I need to set up a sub network. Thanks for any replies, and sorry if I missed a general network advice thread.

I guess you could split or partition the network, one specific to the playstation and other for the VPN service you intend to connect with. Becareful though because security holes would arise, especially if you are setting it up on your own.

Like when i work remotely, i specifically connect to a vpn service to access my company's network, while i also browse neogaf both over an isp.

Maybe get a second router just for the vpn connected devices?

Or get a vpn service that allows for multiple device connections per account, and use your PS4 as usual.

Good luck.

I'm new to VPN and just got Nord,
After downloading the app and logging in, is that it? Would you just use your browsers normally now?
