Can't say I'm crazy about it...but I'd hit it.
Imprezzas have always been a bit fugly. At least the new grille is unique looking (and not totally radical like the Tribeca's..). And the new headlights are pretty mean looking - no more bug-eyes!

I have a feeling that this grille will grow on a lot of people. It's not bad.
Kinda like how the Audi grille grew on me...THE AUDI GRILLE IS HOT!!!!

Not quite as bad as the concept shots, they've toned it down a bit.

But still not as nice as the 2004/5 model. Back looks identical to the bug eye version.

I think the 2005 STi with the Japanese DCCD package and suspension will be the next classic. Bug eye is ugly, but the blob is v.nice.

Makes it easier for me when I try and buy another one. Means I don't need to look for a new one.

i still can't stand the alfa front fascia. i mean seriously, what the hell. also, i can't believe they managed to come up with a rear aero package for the sti that's even worse for visibility than the current giant wing.

anyways, i'm sure it will be fast as all fuck out. does it have the same DCCD system as the 05s? what mechanical changes are we looking at here? (other than the 2.5l in the non-sti).

Well I'll say this... that new nose looks better on the Impreza than it does on the Tribeca.

I think it's moronic to limit the designs of your lineup in general by trying to retain this supposed identity. However, it does work if the grill is actually attractive (ie BMW).

Another prime example is Mitsubishi. The smartest thing Mitsubishi has ever done is drop that hideous grill from the 2006 Evo. Shame the Eclipse still has it, but that design has other issues as well.. :lol

On other forums people have been toning down the pig nosed front end and it actually looks quite a bit better.

It's just that the grille is far too dominant as it is...I'm not really in favour of a corporate look. Seems everyone is doing it nowadays...funny that.

not a big fan of turbo timers - don't like leaving the car idling for a long time. Just take it easy for the last few miles of your drive.

ist not that long. it calculates everything for you to determine how long it should idle but the most i've gotten was 10-14 secs max.
