3) Holy cow I'm definitely going to try it because the plot is an original story written by Orson Scott Card and the game looked quite awesome at E3

3) probably means Card scribbled some random ideas on a napkin during the developers' Q&A session with him, then left when they showed him the screenshots, at which point the devs intercepted the napkin on its way to the trash can

actually, doesnt sound anything like that with the several interviews held with card about the game from various magazines over the past year...

I remember reading an article where O.S.C said the creators of the game already had the story in place before they came to him. He made it sound as if he just added his name and two cents here and there. He might have been being modest though.

from what i have gathered, they had the main stories plot points down. card was impressed with what they showed, and fleshed out all the characters and details and remaining story elements...

they are just plain captures, arent they? captures always look pretty bad compared to the actual game.

i am much more worried about the team fixing all the bugs and having the game play well then the graphics

Which still gives it a better narrative pedigree than 90% of the games out there.

In reference to Mike's lucid post, if it wasn't for #3 I wouldn't endure so much of #1 and #2 to look at this thread. I'm sure I'm not alone.

the team building it is VERY small and the game is quite ambitious.
