I've heard that they're ripping off Splinter Cell for this game. It's developed by EA Canada I think.

that looks pretty good actually.

edit// but movie licensed games are always so damn constrained. movie story's are too short for games so movie licensed games are always too short. not to mention that if you see the movie the games story is probably spoiled for you. graphics look nice .

Catwoman steals from Prince of Persia, Batman steals from Splinter Cell

No wonder EA wants Ubisoft

I read an article about this game in XBN. Supposedly that's what they are going for. Basically a hard ass, darker, less merciful batman.
I'm not mad that they're making Batman a hard ass or the game darker, I'd much prefer that over something like the animated batman games. But the environment(s) that they've been showing off in this game have all been lifted straight out of Max Payne, which makes it look boring as shit. As dumb a game as it was, Dark Tomorrow had more interesting environments from the look of it so far.

when was the last time an american movie licence was handled by a japanese studio?

Disney never got better game than when sega and capcom made those licenced game.

American game look all the same!

God that looks depressing and bland.

Just like every other film-based video game. They all share the same "look", even if they are developed by different studios.

The look of garbage.

That's Gotham City for you. Looks great to me. I've been hoping that EA did the Catwoman game just so they could get the Batman license and do something interesting with it. Fingers crossed on this one.

Bullshit, Goldeneye not only looked great, but it had diversity in it's levels and the way THEY look too.

The levels in Two Towers and Return of the King were works of art, as well. Painstaking work in those games.

Well, maybe not "all". Change that to most. :P EA's recent shovelware crap is what's fresh in my mind. Besides, Goldeneye is a HUGE exception, considering the game takes a big ass dump on the film it's based on.

Two Towers doesn't look too hot to me, and I don't get all the "praise" the game got when it was released.

When are these bat suit designers going to realize that fancy looking, 'futuristic' outfits don't inspire any kind of terror.
