BlockBuster broke the Doom 3 release date? What are the chances that all BlockBusters are selling it?

Eh, the release date is tomorrow so it won't matter :P

Never heard of Close Combat First to Fight. Initially I thought it was a 19.99 budget title then I see it's 39.99.

So I check out the IGN preview and they make it sound pretty decent

We might have had some doubts then, but Destineer has shown a solid foundation, fundamentally interesting gameplay, and has since displayed serious progress in its code. The preview we got our hands on proved that this game is going to be both hardcore as a single-player and as a multiplayer game, and more importantly, that it's got its own unique brand of fun.

I'll probably wait on Rise of Kasai. I enjoyed Mark of Kri for awhile, but the combat started getting on my nerves and I finally quit near the end (I think) in that level with all the green fog.

Lastly, I'll be picking up Doom 3 first thing in the morning at Fry's. Looking forward to the co-op.

haha, yeah thats true. Theres been so much back and forth *the game is good,NO IT SUCKS!* coments that I'm quite anxious to get my hands on the game just to see how I feel about it. Ofcourse it helps that I pretty much have been longing for another Doom game since the N64 days.

Has anyone played Spy vs. Spy? Just like Obscure last week, seems like this one has been out in the UK/Europe already. I'm a-gettin' it anyway; 20 bucks + love for all things Mad Magazine + cool cover = slam dunk for me, but I wonder if my low expectations are suitable or if I should lower them even more.

I never played the old Spy Vs Spy compuer game, but it was supposed to be excellent. Any fans of that here who have an opinion on the new one, even from impressions?

I remember that Spy vs. Spy game from years gone by. Fond memories. :)

Anyone picking up First to Fight? I thought it looked kinda cool. Love taking out them terrorists (doing that a bunch online in SC: Chaos Theory now).

I picked up regualr Doom 3 (fuck you GameRush), will be taking it back to trade up for the collectors edition.

Dumb bastards that only got 6 fucking copies of the CE. They told me they just had enough to cover pre orders.... BUT, they also told me when I pre bought Doom 3 that I couldn't preorder just the collectors edition. WTF Gaerush? Get your new guys to get their stories straight.

woo-hoo picked up Doom at lunch.

Probably will sucker in for Spy vs. Spy unless I hear something horrid (nostalgia!). Lego Star Wars is tempting.

Reviews have scared me away from DDS and Kasai. The demo for the latter was gawd awful.

Doom3 and Digital Devil Saga are no-brainers. But I'm REALLY looking forward to Close Combat: First to Fight. This looks like it'll be fun as hell via XBL. I can't wait, I didn't know it's release date had been pushed up!

That would rock if true! Probably wouldn't even touch it till August anyway if I bought it now. How close would that be to the DDS2 release?

Still apprehensive on Doom 3, PC version wasn't all that, but the co-op is tempting and pretty much all of my RL Xbox owning friends are buying.

Lego Star Wars is awesome! Top-notch level design, and hilarious in-jokes abound. Despite following that hideous new trilogy, it ekes out one hugely pleasant co-op hack n slash with an uncanny amount of unlockables and content to plunder. The variety in puzzles, platforming, and action is excellent. Even the vehicular stuff is tolerable. It's hard to find a better game to play with your kids, siblings, or spouse.

According to Atlus' website, DDS got bumped back to August 9th. Any L33T 1N51D3RZ know why?

APRIL FOOLS!
For those of you that didn't get our sick and twisted April Fool's joke, you can all rest assured that SMT: Digital Devil Saga WILL ship to retailers on
April 5, 2005. You still have time to pre-order to ensure that you get your copy on launch day. So what are you waiting for?

When will we simply drop that god-damned pointless holiday. Practical jokes are about timing, the perfect timing on the unsuspected, April 1 makes a mockery of just that. Let's get bored of it already!

Stupid ass UPS probably not getting the copy to the stores on time. Jerk asses!

That DOOM 3 CE box art looks so awesome. I'm tempted to buy the game just for that (and playing Doom 3 on a big screen, of course). I need more time for games (and more money) :(

Wasn't this time of year supposed to be that time when nothing worth it (save for a few games) comes out so people can play all those games they missed from the holiday period? :(
