Photographer: "Can I see some emotion please?"

Hitomi: "Nope, my face is plastic, it won't move."

Please someone inform Itagaki about the idea of facial animation...

The jacket looks nice, but where is the gameplay? I doubt DoA has changed much since I played DoA2 for PS2 at launch. Soul Calibur, Tekken, and VF (if you're hardcore) ftw.

If you read hands on previews by fighting game enthusiasts it has actually changed quite considerably and is a lot more likely to be used as a tournament game now.

They changed the counter timing to 10 frames. That makes me happy. Other than that, I'm not sure what else has changed.

If he were really interested, he'd have read the topics that cover the changes that've been on the board in the past...

- counter damage has been toned down

- characters dont fall flat on the ground anymore... instead they stagger as they try to gain their composure off the ground

- juggles now have different properties... for example ayane's infamous backhand combo doesnt have the priority or the same juggle capability.

truthfully i've seen more changes within the characters moves and the damage... they seem more refined and less abusable... for example Jann Lee's Dragon Gunner throw (his leg trip move)... normally people will abuse it to death and when you duck you get low grabbed... now they added a sort of mini combo to the dragon gunner so you wont be able to be caught by it so much.

they also gave the ninjas more ninja like moves (teleports, air combo's, wall running, etc.)

it's definitely shaping up to be a contender... so when people think of the top three fighters next gen

vf 5, tekken tag tournament 2, and doa 4 comes to mind

So, next gen DOA is pretty much this gen DOA with a little bit more sprinkles on top.

I'm not impressed.
:lol Oh Doc. There's no way the Xbox could handle this game. None. Zip. Nadda. While I do agree that it could be "more", we still don't know what else is in the game. I'm sure Mr. I has some mini gamse hidden in there as well as some other suprises. The sheer fact that the game environments are interactive and give tactical advantage is a step in the right direction for ALL fighting games.

Please tell me how this game could not be handle on the x box. All 360's games....
game play could be handle on this gen systems. and DOA 4 look a lot like DOA 3 and DOAU.
