i was excited for the game but after the stupid reveal, all my hype was lost. they need to do something special to bring me back on the hype train.

just show us gameplay and tell us more details about the game.

It is Bungie. That alone creates some hype, though since Bungie is quiet, people are quiet.
Bungie seems to be creating hype slowly. Or perhaps they're starting now.
Not sure.
I don't unfortunately remember how things where back during Halo CE, 2 and 3. For Reach... actually, i don't remember that either well (frustrating).

There's nothing for a really long time, a small tease, then nothing for a really long time, then a whole bunch of shit all at once. Every time.

We don't know yet, if it's not announced at E3 than I will big doubts.

There is hype from Bungie fans, but most people won't get hyped until we actually see the game itself in action. Also, once Activision's marketing gets going, everyone will know what it is.

I think this partly has to do with it being cross-generational. This is a bad time to talk about PS360 games if you ask me. Gran Turismo 6, Dark Souls 2... maybe even GTAV suffers from it.
