Could be a dock charger...

or just a DS styled charge pack so you can charge when you play.

edit: didn't see the second picture.... two seperate items? Dunno what the top one is, but the bottom definately looks like a charging dock to me. Charge rack DS? Sounds about right.

Its probably a docking charger
They made one for GBASP, they sold like crap and really made no sense

I prefer docks. It's easier to keep things neat and tidy, and generally off the floor with them. Having said that, this one could look fugly in person.

I had actually seen this posted somewhere before, can't remember where.

The story was about 2 new accessories: a docking station (the one seen on the bottom of you link) and some thing that could emergency-charge your Nintendo DS by plugging it into your NDS. (probably the first image)

I thought it was a cute little bugger until I realized it only held 2 games.

I hacked mine together this weekend and it's not bad at all -- better than a bunch of loose chips floating around my bag.

Can't wait to decorate it with all kinds of groovy stickers!

Word of warning though -- stay far far away from the peach flavor. THEY ARE A GROSS TASTE.

i'd much rather have a standard cradle or base to charge my DS in. There was a pretty slick on for the SP made by Pelican, but i haven't been able to find it anywhere.

Also, are you not supposed to charge the DS with the SP power supply? That's all i've been using since i've got my DS seeing as how my SP's supply is always plugged in.
