New DS games ( Super Monkey Ball + more )

Well that's what i wanted, a portable version of Monkey Ball,
there are already GBA and cell phone versions, but they are not so hot.

This game better not have roll control like pac and roll, actually I am unsure of how I would want the control to work, I liked the analog stick so much :(

p.s.
I am hot for this game

Also N-Gage. I heard the GBA version was actually pretty good, though...
GBA version was technically impressive, but overall just not nearly as good as originals, also digital control with B button as a fast/slow modifier is awkward.

If they bring back the original Monkey Target setup with new targets and multiplayer, i'm all over this. No Stars BS

edit: i'm tempted to say keep it alternating play. nothing as fun as talking shit at the last second to screw up your friend's landing

edit2: ok, basically all i want is the original MT with new targets. Why only 3

I'm a bit torn on this now. More monkeys is always good, and the touchscreen will make for a *far* better portable monkey experience.

But from the levels in the scan, it looks like it might just be Super Monkey Ball 1 with new (and odd-looking) backgrounds :(

And good God! What have they done to Aiai!

Good news on SMB. It's a perfect match for the DS.

Anime football game... interesting. Makes me want to watch the show a little.

Art thou fuck-stoned?

SMB is an analogue controlled game. The only way to control that thing on a DS properly is with the stylus and even then, the scheme would need a serious rethink to work as well as it does with an analogue. I love Monkey Ball, but this idea is DUMB.

Actually, seeing the screens suggest they have seriously retought it. Looks like you poke Ai Aii's ball and stuff.

Yeah, that's what got me wondering as well...how would the analogue controls possibly translate accurately to the DS? I don't think it'll "feel" like Monkey Ball anymore...but it could still turn out good in a different way.
