Trailer says it's designed to work on GBA and DS. So it most likely is a GBA title. Also no use of dual or touchscreen seen anywhere.

So then, really, it's a GBA game ;)

well, it is GBA game. It can be played on DS, just like all GBA games. Got to love misleading titles.

That's NOA marketing's take on the situation. I have a feeling NCL has no idea that the DS is "supposed" to be for an older audience, particularly since they're so exciting about linking it to new Pokemon movies. The hand is acting without the brain's instructions, and the whole body will look bad as a result :(

Yeah, not a spectacular launch line-up, but let's give credit where it's due. The "kid fare" is squarely in the minority with the DS launch.

Uhhh... there's nothing inherently kiddy about sports and racing games either. Or Sims titles.

Graphics totally remind me of Golden Sun for some reason... what kind of game is it? Puzzle...?

I was thinking this myself actually, everything about it has some kind of GS feel to it. It looks like a RPG to me as well, but I'm not sure.

Three Tribes is a Game Boy Advance adventure game within an overworld like Mario & Luigi or The Minish Cap. Gameplay solely relies on (notably difficult) puzzles and some minor platforming, there's no combat. Most puzzles involve the character-swap system, which gives it a Lost Vikings-vibe.

I'm not allowed to give away much about this game because of a NDA I signed, but I really think this could become a great product. Two Tribes obviously know their puzzling, as their previous game 'Toki Tori' proves.
