Righteous.

Cool.

I hope the fact that there are a good amount of positive reviews for Killer 7 gets more people to try it. Whether you love or hate it, it's worth a try to see which side of the fence you are on.

There's plenty of other threads you can post your dislike for Killer 7 in, rather than post in one about a magazine you've never read. And for the record I couldn't care less about the game.

Again sorry, didn't realize had to analyze past reviews in depth from the publication in order to make a valid opinion. Or did you just want everyone to post 'OK' in response to the scores?

yeah it's basicly a hate or love game.

Wow, that certainly is surprising. Edge is usually a very tough magazine as far as scores go. They must have really liked it!

I would say from previous reviews that the fact it's quite different and somewhat of an "arthouse" game would have helped it. Their last preview wasn't overly glowing, just slightly positive.

Man what is the deal with Black Hawk Down getting a 4???? I was really hoping this game was going to be awesome, especially with 50 players on Live. Could anyone state what the article said about the game? Thx

Swap Killer 7's score with Medal of Honor and then we're set

Well yeah, you have the right to say the game sucks since you played the final version and all.

"Well yeah, you have the right to say the game sucks since you played the final version and all."

well, i have , and i'll say... "ART FAGS!"

;)

It's really confusing - I DESPERATELY wanted to love K7, but i just can't bring myself to do it. I was even making excuses for it , but i just can't...

Only correct scores are BF2's 9 and Bomberman DS' 7.

Killer 7 being trash aside, Atelier Iris is about as stock an anime RPG as you can get without being Tales of Symphonia -- why do these games always get a free pass?

And Trace Memory a 7? Try a 4; cute Nintendo-approved anime girlies for the terminally Olimarioesque aside, it's an adventure game for freakin' children and is so far removed from the best the genre offers it isn't even funny.

Conker an 8? Sweet God, when EGM gets it right and Edge doesn't, it's a sad day for elitist snobs everywhere.

Jesus christ, did you just compare Killer 7 to an RPG with a cliche plot & characters?

I had feared Another Code was a kids adventure... and while I tend to disagree with you on DS games, your comments and the expediated nature people are playing through the game... I've got a feeling you may be spot on here. Gonna get Bomberman on the 8th of July I think. Imported Meteos as well - it should be with me on Monday. I agree with you on generous RPG reviews too.

If Killer 7 isn't a $20 experimental must purchase I don't know what is. I loved adventure games back in the early 90's and the genre is all but deceased in the new millineum so this will be a breath of fresh air for me. I just really wished they would of made a free roaming action game with that engine ala RE4 the industry needs more games with unique styles instead of "Realistic Plastic Game #48" which the industry will be full of next gen.

I agree with your sentiments, and I'm getting this as one of my last GameRush pre-pay deals...but I don't think this game heralds the return of any sort of adventure game. To be fair, that would mean more attention to puzzles and story which this doesn't seem to do. This seems more like an art-house rail shooter. I'm excited to play it, even if I'm wary of the final product.
