His flow actually sounds alright for the first time in what, a year or two? His throat needs a fucking rest though.
It sounded incredibly familiar and safe, but it's a song for a COD trailer so meh. I've always liked Em's stuff, some more than others and I've never been particularly bothered by the accents or screaming flow. /shrug

It could both be the lead single and on the COD soundtrack. Em's pre taped message at the press conference said he will be shooting a video for the song soon so it leads me to believe its his first single.
He is also performing over seas the next few days with Kendrick Lamar and Slaughterhouse. If he performs this song it will be a giveaway that it is a song from his album.

Never was, never will be. Is Eminem the only hip-hop artist you people (stans) listen to? I mean, the guy's great but there are a crap ton of other excellent rappers (and ones who make their own beats that don't suck ass) to where that 90% crap you guys throw around is straight lobotimzed donkey dumb.
Confident that if it doesn't have something horrible like having Bruno Mars or Rhianna on a chorus, this will be a great album.

I'll give you that. I'd put Skyzoo, Lupe, and Royce (when he's not screwing around) over him as lyricists (Skyzoo musically, A Dream Deferred>>>>>>anything Eminem's ever done).

Yup. The Mathers LP was good too, but just didnt strike me as hard as the original. Everything got too bizarre after that, although I did enjoy "Superman" off Encore and I think its great he won an Oscar.
Also, that performance of Stan with Elton John. I remember watching that on TV and being like Whaaaaaaaat

I have no idea who Skyzoo is, but Lupe hasn't been good since The Cool and Royce got destroyed by Em on multiple occasions on Hell The Sequel.

Jay, Nas, Lupe, Kendrick and Cole are all better than Em right now, and since he released Encore where he fell into the Sheikh Slim voice-era. if we're saying different eras then Cube, Pun, B.I.G, Scarface, Common, 3000 and Blackthought have all been more lyrically fit than Em at one time or another.
The decline of Em from the top of the game to Sheikh Shady to Screminem is always on topic in Eminem thread though.

It's good. Sounds like a lot from his last CD Recovery. He has that same background singer. I got his LP when I was around 14 years old, been a fan of his and D12 for a while. I think he's getting back to his angry roots instead of his uplifting sound he had for a while. I prefer this type of Eminem than his circus-like sound.
At lease he went after Hollywood money making games like CoD. Seeing Linkin Park on the terrible Medal of Honor title was a let down. Good job Eminem: at least for the moment.

Listening to some Slaine right now, I'm digging it more than that song. Eminem is still one of the better rappers when he's on his game though.
Its from his album but just won't be the lead single.
It will also be on the COD soundtrack. I doubt he made it just for the game. But since they have used his music for promotion before he probably offered this particular song as the song they will use to promote this game.
