Can someone describe this video to those who are having problems accessing/finding it. And is this ps3 or 360 we're talking about?

March you say? 360 you say? Yes, I believe this is relevant to my interests. Fight Night: Round 2 was awesome and a huge step up from the original. I have high hopes for this one as well.

Found the video and it works for me - both video and audio. Don't know why it's not working for some of you guys. I'm on a slow computer right now, so the video plays really choppy on mine, but from what I can tell, this video looks as good as the footage that was shown at E3. You can see the skin ripple when they get hit, and towards the end, when this guy gets hit, you see blood flying out from his mouth and drops of sweat.
I'm assuming/hoping this is real gameplay, as they were playing the game on 360 controllers. If this is real time, holy crap, this is highly impressive. A definite improvement over a lot of what we've seen so far of the launch games.

man, i love Fight Night 2. I just got done doing a mega session with one of my best friends, who regularly comes over to fight. we can sit here for 10 hours straight fighting.
my only two problems with the current game is the lack of fighters (sooooo many greats missing, current and former) and I hate how the clinch bails a fighter out of trouble, even if you get him into the black 20 times, as long as the clinch, they are saved. i hate that with a passion and we made a rule to limit a fighter to a max of 2 clinches when in the black (for the whole fight).
probably my favorite boxing game ever (and i'm a big fan of boxing games, since waaaaay back).

Nice video (though the models in the e3 demonstration look better-could be because of capture quality).
But you know what, if it plays ANYTHING like Round 2 it is complete and utter garbage. I love the total punch control scheme and if they truly want to get rid of mashers, then they should make the game analog control only (not optional). What they NEEEEEED to do however is get rid of those STUPID haymakers in round 2 or make then a once in a blue moon event. Otherwise, itÂ’ll be nothing like real boxing with haymakers taking over.
In short, make it more like the original with the addition of blocking while moving and clinching (both found in round 2) while taking out the haymaker system as it appeared in round 2. Also, make it analog only. Button masher pussies need not apply.

After seeing the video again, I would have to agree with that assessment as well. Maybe because the footage here is 360 and the one that was shown at E3 was the ps3 version?

It's hard to make out fine details because that video feed is pretty low res. I'm guessing that it looks the exact same or better than the stuff shown at Sony's E3 show, honestly.

Cool show. The host isn't nearly as annoying as most hosts of videogames shows. Does this actually air on mtv?
Edit: just checked out the e3 footage. They have added alot more to the arenas of the fighters including spectators and ring items. Also the blood splatter wasn't part of the original demo.

The models and lighting definitely look great but its disappointing to see it moving nearly identically to the previous games. The more detailed these characters get, the more grating poor animation becomes to the eye. And those ragdoll KOs are a joke. They have a lot more processing power to calculate these types of things now, where's the advancement? The incremental improvements in movement and interaction not keeping pace with the massive improvements in detail isnt what Id consider a good trend for next gen development. Its the same shit we've seen for years wrapped in a pretty new skin.
