Believe me i know alot about this matter. There's alot of game designers and producers out there that believe in themselves and their pre-tested formula for games. They are such non-gamers and they sooo lack vision it's unbelievable. The only thing they believe in is the facts from the focus groups and also the trends in adjacent industry like movies and music. Why does every action video game ever made have a bunch of crates nearly everywhere you turn? Think about it - every action game has a large number of crates and wooden boxes that explode or can be destroyed with a punch or kick.
I guess I could buy this if every game was set in a factory, but, action video games make it seem like there are crates lying around everywhere you turn.
