the Deluxe is a happy middle ground. From the description it also sounds like they took some cues from the Moon Shaped Pool deluxe edition. Should be quite the item.

What is the likely hood that apple music gets the deluxe version and those bonus songs aren't locked? Then I could get the regular vinyl, but still have the bonus songs.

Don't really get Ascension to be honest. Andromeda is my jam. It's infectious.
From those five tracks, I'd say the album is okay so far. But that's from someone who liked Plastic Beach.

You can get the Deluxe edition on CD for $22, unless you just really want vinyl

The Super Deluxe $350 is already gone. Not sure on the regular Deluxe Vinyl. The Deluxe CD will probably stick around, I would guess

I'd assume that they'll stick around post launch, but after that they're gone. I still saw plenty of Metallica Deluxe editions in HMV's and stuff for a month or two post release.
Hoping that it sticks around at least til Monday.
