You should have mentioned in the thread title that it shows town and NPCs
this is huge.
Character interactions are weak af. VO and expressions both seem off.
Looks about Witcher 3 level and well above games like Fallout 4. So overall looks pretty decent for a big open world ARPG game.
TW3 does have conversations that look and sound weird, but they also have some great ones. Horizon looks bad across the board thus far. We haven't seen much though, and there's a decent amount of time left, so I'm hopeful things will improve.
That was just for demo purposes, I believe. Since they actually have someone from Sony/Guerrilla explaining things here, there was no need for Aloy to be narrating what's going on. Not that I had a problem with her talking.I liked when she talked to herself.
Dammit, GG, fix this shit. Yes, you, I know you're reading this.

Surprised they used TGS to showcase a new Horizon demo. Nice.
Eh I felt about 70 percent of the Witcher character interactions consist of Geralt shrugging and the NPC's flapping their arms like flightless birds with some nice character models whose faces barely reacted. There were some stand out ones as well and some really well shot scenes like anything to do with the Bloody Baron but those were mostly big story missions and quests. Side stuff and random vendors was never that impressive outside of the scale of lines written and voiced.
They had very convincing facial animations and nodded a lot. That's what it boiled for most NPC in the overworld.Eh I felt about 70 percent of the Witcher character interactions consist of Geralt shrugging and the NPC's flapping their arms like flightless birds with some nice character models whose faces barely reacted. Graphics are mindblowing but my hype has diminished for this game significantly for some reason. Just looks like a typical open-world RPG albeit with kick-ass looking robot dinosaurs.
I'd love to see your idea of an atypical open world RPG. Is it Zelda?Graphics are mindblowing but my hype has diminished for this game significantly for some reason. Just looks like a typical open-world RPG albeit with kick-ass looking robot dinosaurs.

There is some definite improvements to the facial animations compared to E3.
We get to see a new town and she even buys some gear from a local merchant.
