I probably should've added more details to the OP when I created the thread but I was being lazy.

Takeshi Koike (Lupin the 3rd: Fujiko's Lie, Redline) directs the new Lupin the 3rd anime film at studio Telecom Animation Film, with a script by Yuya Takahashi (Lupin the 3rd Part IV) and music by James Shimoji (Redline). Katsuhito Ishii (Redline original creator) serves as creative advisor and TOHO NEXT is distributing the film.
Confirmed cast members are as follows:

• Lupin III voiced by Kanichi Kurita
• Daisuke Jigen voiced by Akio Otsuka
• Goemon Ishikawa voiced by Daisuke Namikawa
• Fujiko Mine voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro
• Inspector Zenigata voiced by Koichi Yamadera

That's a long time working on Lupin projects now. But if he has a good relationship with them and gets proper funding then that's probably preferable to the alternatives.

Nice to see they're finally continuing this after how excellent fujiko's lie turned out. I wonder if they're just doing Lupin's story or if zenigata is going to get one afterwards.
