Im on hold with EA tech support right now. Im going to give you a rundown of the problem. When I started my Skins franchise I played my games and let the CPU sim the rest of the uncontrolled teams. However Ive had 2 instances where the CPU refuses to sim games and it seems the only way to get past them and continue on with my season will be to play them. The 1st time it was only one game that got stuck in the preseason, I deleted my franchise and started over. Now I have 4 games in the 2nd week of the regular season which will not sim. My local gamestop has some really cool guys there and they allowed me to swap my old copy with a new one. I got home and have the same results.

Ill let you guys know what happens.

There seems to be an issue with the Jets and Dolphins. I started another franchise for the 3rd time and it gots stuck again on week 2 phins vs jets. Phatsaqs have you updated your rosters? I have. I wonder if thats the source of the problem. EA is currently looking into and Im glad I have free long distance.

I updated to the online rosters a little over a week ago. Havent checked anything since.

I'm in week 8 of my Shithawks franchise and no problems to report other than the computer never runs the damn ball even in simulated games. Alexander leads the league with about 1000 yds rushing and 10 TDs the closest competitor has 390 and 4 TDs.

Update:

I deleted my roster update but not my profile and I got the same result of being stuck on week 2: phins and jets.

I went and deleted my profile also and now it got past week 2. Im going to go back and remake a profile and then update the rosters again. I want to narrow this down to one or the other just so that if any of you guys have this issue you'll have a sure fix.

Im thinking that in some way my profile may have gotten corrupted. I dont know wut my profile would have to do with the jets and the phins, isn't it just for u specific settings? Id think the issue would stem from the roster download but like I said I deleted the roster update and had the same issue. (I didn't turn off the console after doing that. Maybe the updated rosters were still in the memory even though I deleted them off of the HDD).



Either way stuff like this shouldn't happen.

I'm lucky, I'm still trying to do the 30 years of franchise with my Raiders. So far I've gone through about 6 years with no problem. Hope you get through winning your Superbowl.

:lol :lol I forgot to mention nearly every season of my Franchise, McNabb and Vick are always the leaders in rushing through about week 4. Then they start to fall off the rushing charts.

Ugh, this piece of shit.

I'm doing an offline season with the Panthers, and I just completed week 12. I went to the next game, and simulated to get up to my next game so I could play, but it just stopped, leaving two games in week 12 unsimulated.

Now, I can't seem to do anything. I can' t simulate the games at all. Not an entire week, not up to a week, and not even seperate games. I can't even play the games I want to sim. When I pick these options, it looks like it is simming, but when it pops back up, nothing happens.

Is there any way around this at all without deleting everything I've done up to this point?

So yeah, you can't actually fix this without starting over if you (like me), save it after this happens. I always save right after I finish a game, and never thought anything of it at all. This makes me want to just give up on this game just out of spite.
