The new added difficulty (besides ninja dogs' easy one) looks insanely hard.

i'm trying to beat ninja gaiden on all 3 difficulties before this game comes out. already done it with normal and hard (hard was actually easier than normal difficulty for me, weird). but damn, very hard is killing me. im only on chapter 2 and i've seen the game over screen way too many times

Have you tried Hurricane pack 2?

Yeah. Haha... I never played Very Hard, but I think the consensus is that HP2 is harder.

I'm almost done with it and it is really unforgiving. Those big guys with clubs are just evil.

I also found Hard (much) easier than Normal. I think its just because you know what youre doing

Same old game + hurricane packs (that add different enemies, weapons, as well as a whole new area with tons of levels and waves after waves of enemies) + new camera + a sorta new hurricane pack + 2 new added difficulties (ninja dog and some ultimate difficulty.)

I'd say it's like the original with an attached expansion pack.

i don't have Live but i finished NG on very hard 3 times already. I cant wait for Black, the E3 trailer with Alma (not alone this time!), Dark Ryu and the new monsters was amazing

those two games are MGS3 and Ninja Gaiden

funny cause both of those games are being re-released this year with extra content

I don't really like the "lets just throw normal enemies to fight during the boss fights to artificially make them harder rather than giving the bosses new patterns and smarter AI to really make them tougher". But everything else about the pack looks top-notch and since Ninja Gaiden is up there with the best action games ever; this will probably be the Xbox GoTY 2005 IMHO.
