works like a charm. it's slightly more complicated than freeloader because you have to open the drive manually with this slide tool thing. but i played through SotC (NTSC) on my PAL PS2 and it's worked out great for me.

I thought the game was absolutely beautiful at E3, and it looks even more glorious now. What a work of art. Take THAT, Roger Ebert.

this game was one of the best things about E3 last year --- such a suprise

there's a great sense of adventure in the game, "Beyond Good and Evil" if not "Zelda" quality of an epic.
The battling seems more fleshed out now, it was really simple one item kinda battling at E3 --- but it was fun, and you didn't just mash mash buttons - I'm seeing them take some wisdom from Viewtiful.

the landscapes look to be opening up a lot more, vast and a great sense of scale --- only wind-waker has such a deep style and that sense of environment (that's probobly the hardest thing in a stylized game to pull off)

really really looking forward to this, I may import -- anyone have any info on what languages the text can be in?

there are different tools for each ps2 version. it's a little confusing. basically you need the cd/dvd plus the appropriate tool.

i got this bundle: (cd/dvd + slide tool)

it's for the old big ps2s

for the slim pstwo you need this one: (cd/dvd + flip top)

and apparently there's an even newer revision of the slim pstwo which needs this tool: (magic keys)

on this site the "magic keys" are not bundled with the cd/dvd, so you will have to buy it seperately in case you have the newest slim model. and also, according to what i read, these "magic keys" also work with the older slim model. so the "flip top" only works with the first model and the "magic keys" are supposed to work with all models.

so you need to know which pstwo version you have before you can decide.

I gotta say I absolutely adore the animation in this title. Watching the wolf just run along is so satisfying.
