It doesn't get any worse than Family Circus.

I wish I'd saved a recent Sunday Family Circus... the story went something like this:

- two of the kids bury a bunch of stuff in a box... as if it wasn't blatantly obvious what they were doing, all the objects had arrows pointed toward them with descriptions ([toy on the ground] <---- Toy)
- the two kids are now old and say "I wonder what ever happened to that box we buried?"
- some construction workers are digging up some dirt and one of the workers finds the box and says "Oh it's just a box with some old junk"
- THE END
