It seems like a cheesy FPS I would expect from EA had they not acquired the Bond license. It just looks lame, and nothing like Perfect Dark.
You got to play it?Dr.Guru of Peru said:Honestly...aside from history, I dont think this game has anything going for it. Graphics are mediocre, as is the AI, voice acting is poor, music is obnoxious. Ironclad_Ninja said:The vid quality is pretty bad but there are still quite a few flaws that you can notice. The sensitivity was all over the place and the enemy AI is pathetic. She blew up a set of barrels behind a group of enemies and they didn't even notice. No reaction whatsoever. Though parts of the game are looking better, some of the lighting looked off, and seemed extremely static. Especially around the 3:50 mark. Some of the reload animations are definitely better and the death animations are vastly improved. The cutscenes are absolutely weak. Joanna looks so stupid in the cutscenes. Her voice actor is alright though although I must say that the VA in the last 30 seconds of the vid was absolutely horrendous. "You're wrecking my ride!" :lol
The game looks pretty fun, but if the AI is weak and the sensitivity is all over the place, then even that could be lost.

It also helped matters that many of our enemies in the demo weren't terribly quick to react to (or even realize that they were) being shot at. Although this was a little disappointing, we should point out that the game was being played on one of the easier settings.
Why did we choose to play the game on an easy setting? We didn't actually, but the game was defaulting to that difficulty level so that we could check out its hint feature, which kicked in automatically whenever we failed to make any progress for a period of time.

That was EA's idea you know.

Ironclad_Ninja said:I am well aware that the game was set to easy on default, we've seen the same blue arrows in several vids. Just because it's on easy doesn't mean that the enemies should have no reaction at all when a barrel explodes right behind them. They don't necessarily have to start shooting at Joanna, or even find her because she was off to the side but they can still react to the explosion.
You're wrong. They do jump away when you toss a gernade. Even on easy. Still, if they don't jump away sometimes, they still react in some way to the fucking gernade. You understand what I am saying, eh? The enemies in this PDZ vid didn't even react to the damn explosion alright. I'm not expecting something dynamic. I'm expecting them to acknowledge the giant fireball a few meters behind their heads. Oh well, it's like talking to a wall.Prine said:Oh please, the grunts and covenent soldiers in Halo were just as bad on easy. throw a grenade and the stand there shouting "nooooooooo!"

I remember the elites jumping away, and the grunts yelling and screaming. This was all on easy. All I am expecting out of the PDZ enemies is to notice the explosion. Maybe cover themselves or something, in the same fashion that Leon does when you throw a gernade in RE 4. Like I said, nothing dynamic. Just a sense of awareness as far as the environment goes.Prine said:You cant complain about the AI if its on easy end of, if they react the same on Agent and Super Agent then you have a point.
And no, i dont remeber elites jumping out the way when i tossed a grenade.
Get on Halo2 tonight, fat git
