Huh? It might not be "OMFG TEH KILLZONE3 KILLAR" impressive but it certainly still looks like an impressive next-gen title to me.

It's from the trailer like the rest and the trailer sure as hell looks amazing.

It looks good enough that I question whether it was actually realtime. There are lots of signs that it could be realtime...but also signs that would suggest otherwise.

I know, the trailer IS amazing. But if the trailer hadn't been shown and that particular pic was released as a next-gen RE screenshot I don't think we'll find it that impressive.

Scroll through and you'll see annotations on the broken pics talking about some of the old characters like Wesker and Jill Valentine. My guess is it can't take the bandwidth or something went tits up.

Well, that was the initial response when only pics were available.

From this gen, MGS2 was the same. The initial pics were not particularly amazing, but the trailer was absolutely incredible.

As long as RE5 lets you move whle shooting, and isn't dependent on an (albeit farily well integrated so far) an escort mission...then I'm all for it.
