I love how he can stand mere feet away from huge explosions.

He's not torn to shreds himself, just the stuff he shoots at :D

They should use this delay time to implement things like motorcycles, aircraft and wildlife instead of being a bunch on whiners and using the "non standardized HDD" crutch.

Lies!

But if you can, just upload one (or all of them heh) to the original link page. No need to kill the 56kers. ;)

Not good.

Damn that main character. I don't want to play as John Cenna or whatever his name is...

main character is totally customisable before you start.

thats what they were saying at e3 anyway.

Yet another batch of Xbox 360 screenshots with no AA at all it seems.

I have the theory that next gen games might not even bother with AA, as developers could say that 95% of the people will play those games on regular TVs and would not benefit from AA in 720p to begin with but will get the free AA by downsampling the 720p buffer to 480i.

On top of many X360 games, as far as I can see even MGS4 trailer didn't use any AA, or it maybe had 2x AA at most.

What Ghost said. The game features a "Create a Thug" from the beginning and you can modify pretty much anything about the character. Height, weight, race, build, clothes even individual body proportions.

Also, while in game you can go shopping to change your look or even find a plastic surgeon to edit your guy even further.

There was a movie(s) a while back showing the feature and it is fantastic.

PS. If you went to crunker's link you'd see that the player is using other characters, showing you that you don't have to play as Cena. :lol

Oh, and thanks for the updated pics crunker! *checks*

Why are some shots jagged to hell and other are perfect AA'd?
The ones with perfect AA are the ones scaled down from the 5600x2800 resolution down to what you saw on that site. Take a look at the RAR linked above to the original high res screens, and neither of them has any AA.

interesting right?heres a tip, the ones that came bigger were the ones with AA "enabled".. draw your own conclusions and grab the original RAR to see that it was just the resizing maybe :) cant post huge screens like that, then again if i had to guess id say they started with 2x aa

you guys tell me what u think

Eh, Crunker, when you were resizing the pictures, could you have accidentally used the Makeitlooklikeshit filter?

hmm did i forget to turn that off? i thinkits on by default in photoshop 9 haha :)

besides the hardcore gran theft auto copying, it looks on these screens alot worser than the last build i saw.

This looks miserable. From what I've noticed when new systems come out, they usually look about a year ahead of anything yet available on a top-end PC. Holy shit is this not the case with the 360.

When is this game supposed to be released?

And why?

You say that as though EVERY game looks a year ahead on new consoles, if you believe that then you're off your head.

For the 360, it's a Microsoft TCR to have AA enabled in all titles.

I wasn't gonna buy the thing anyway, so I wish only the worst or something. There'll be other good Xbox 360 releases this year if this falls on its face.

it looks good in motion. I wonder how GTA Next gen will look like..

Agreed, it looks pretty nice in motion apart from the framerate but it's not due out for months so I guess they will fix that.
