Didn't play much of the console version - couldn't get too much into the way they implemented the city free-roam. This trailer doesn't put much emphasis on that, so that may be a good sign from my perspective.

From what I've read Spider Man 2 PSP isn't free roaming like the PS2 version, its more like the Spider Man games on the PS1.

That and the web swinging mechanics were easily the best part. The game was pretty mediocre otherwise. Weak boss fights, weak enemy encounters, repetitive and mundane missions. But man that webswinging through the city was fun.
