It's possible that they've added those effects to the trailer to make it look more like a camera recording since it's in the style of a luxury car commercial. Or not, who knows

They really have world-class designers working on the ships. I love how their ships not only look great but they're actually functional in the game world. Seats, turret access ladders, bathrooms, beds, cargo holds, etc. are all designed to fit into the hull shape without cheating.
