When i first heard about the live action movie i thought whats the point, the anime is so freaking cool it doesn't need live action.

But i must admit that trailer got me rethinking my position.

This is a big problem with all Japanese live action.

Heck, Kiko is KOREAN AMERICAN. She isn't even full Asian.

EDIT: I do suppose this works if we substitute Korean American as the "Asian" race in this canon. Mikasa is a mixed, anyway.

Considering that the vertical movement in the anime is a really integral part of the story, that should have been one of the first things that they show. The fact that it hasn't been shown does make me worry about the quality and/or whether or not this live action movie is going to be substantially more 'grounded'.

Only reason I would watch this movie is for a scene that is just a long tracking shot of everyone swinging around fucking up Titans (or at least trying to) while the first opening song plays.

It's almost definitely not going to have that if they're afraid of showing the 3D maneuvers in trailers.

The manga turned A Song of Ice and Titan, and im liking it way better than the mystery crap.
