There were lots of things about ICO that I liked. I really hope they can wrap their quirky, original, and surreal aesthetics and ambience to some truly solid gameplay. I've got my eyes on Wanda, and my fingers crossed.

Oh how long must we wait for this game. New colossus looks great and considering they said there's about 20 in the game, that's around 16 we have no idea about. I hope the rumours about some being big enough to house buildings on their backs are true.

And what's up with that overhead looking pic on the second page? Some sort of map screen.

Well, the ground texture isn't wonderful and in the op scans right hand picture the wall doesn't look the best....ummm...I can't see anything but greatness outside of that.

One picture comparison doesn't mean anything. FFXII features higher resolution textures, (much) more complex scenes with no major draw distance limitaion, more detailed models, vastly superior effects, runs at twice the resolution and (obviously) a smoother framerate.

FFXII certainly isn't very impressive looking, but...
