This is the series' biggest issue, IMO.
They had perfection already - where do you go from there?

They have tried going "Armageddon but 3D" so many times by now, but honestly: 3D does not work well for the formula of real-time precise jumps, precise shots, etc.
It just doesn't work - which is why they all failed.

But this? Looks like a Worms X-Com, maybe?
I could see that, for sure.
Ditch most of the real-time navigation and need for precision and have it turn based with some QTE-like things for shooting, etc. A more playful variant of a turn-based tactics game.

This is probably the first one I'm actually interested in since the last 2D one.
