My pleasure, glad you found it worth reading. I hope your right about PS5's hardware being a return to form and imbued with CELL-like attributes. I'm likely the only member on this site who wishes CELL hadn't been entirely passed up for PS4, as there was certainly a role for it. After all, it was designed to be (among other things) a back-end accelerator for x86 CPUs and a front-end accelerator for GPUs...
Kutaragi left no stone unturned when overseeing CELL's development. Would've loved to see how the cancelled 'Quad Cell/B.E.' (PowerXCell 32iv was IBM's version) in a base PS4 would've been used to improve the quality of games...

Especially the "Offload whole process from GPU to SPU". Cerny is still trying to pull it off. So let me get this straight, we've seen games like HFW, Spider-Man: MM and the R&C sequel run at native 4K resolution on PS5 WITH ray-traced reflections being used at the same time for R&C and Spider-Man: MM, but somehow you want me to believe that devs are having trouble developing for the PS5 and that it will "STRUGGLE" with 4K games while we're supposed to believe the Series X (where they haven't even shown off a SINGLE next-gen game actually running on the console yet, despite being about 3 months away from launch) is supposed to run 4K games "flawlessly."

I want to get excited, but I was talking to an insider friend of mine who told me about problems that could arise. He said that PS5 games could crash and/or freeze. They may even have to get patches. He said that it's possible that online games could even suffer from server issues. I'm getting worried about the PS5 now.

But once we start to look all the small details, the insane models, texturing, shaders, lighting etc and, specially, we put It side by side with what we thought it already looked amazing on current gen, HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!

What I don't get about the DF guys right now is why they're so salty.
This is a few months before a new console gen. For a site that makes money from hits through pixel peeping, this period for DF is like the end of development of a AAA game, the end of the financial year for a tax accountant or the Battle of Britain for fighter pilot - it's the time to do the job and make money... this is what they've been building up to for years and it should be an exciting and lucrative period.
But so far they seem totally uninspired and this guy wants the whole generation delayed because he's not up for it.
The other guy - I don't pay attention to their names ... - said he was "tired" watching the Halo stuff... Yeah halo was tiring for everyone, but console gens come about every 7 years - there was plenty of time to rest in preparation for a couple of months of work - it's not like it's 24/7 stuff either.
