Blueopoint, Fromsoftware and I'm good.Man, stop, don't say The Getaway! One of my most beloved classics of all times. It's owned by London Studio, which is part of Sony's WWS! So they should be doing something all this time? Is this the rumored classic coming to life? And yes, they already have plenty for ip's, they only need to secure the good studios like Bluepoint that have great history with them, one guy here suggest to me.![]()
At this point I still don't know why they haven't bought Bluepoint yetBlueopoint, Fromsoftware and I'm good.
We wouldn't know yet if they have, would weAt this point I still don't know why they haven't bought Bluepoint yet
BTW Take 2 is a publicly traded company.. "buying them" is quite a different proposal than buying a private company like Zenimax. It's incredibly unlikely anyone is buying or taking over Take 2. The price would be insanely high.
Damn..... we can't have shit in 2020
I don't think Sony should respond by buying another publisherI mean, paying $18B for Take 2 is massive, but worth it.
A smart move is to secure a few big games as PS Plus monthly free games, and lock up a game like Elden Ring or something like that. Won't cost too much. Publish Kojima's next game again, etc. Just keep doing what they've been doing.I don't think Sony should respond by buying another publisher. Buying big publishers is risky and may not end up well.
I prefer Sony keep buying Studios and build new ones. It seems like every new IP they produce becomes big. They do not need to fully relay on established IPs.
No definitely not. Buying existing ip/studios is reductive to the industry. It takes away and doesn't generate anything new. Sony focuses on creating their own ip.I don't think Sony should respond by buying another publisher. Buying big publishers is risky and may not end up well.

Bethesda's marquee video games have struggled in the back half of this console generation, beginning in 2016 with the underperforming Dishonored 2. In 2017, the company shipped the much-delayed Prey, along with The Evil Within 2, neither of which found massive commercial success. The online iteration of the Fallout series, Fallout 76, debuted in 2018 and is still trying to find its sea legs nearly two years into its existence. Video game publishers keep their sales numbers quiet barring tremendous success, so it's tough to say how well Rage 2, Wolfenstein 2, or Wolfenstein: Youngblood performed, though the sales information that made it to the public wasn't promising, to say the least.
wellMarket Cap - 18.904B
Usually it takes at least a 30% premium to buy a public company, so that would be at least $25 Billion to buy Take 2.
The only reason Zenimax was only available was because their IPs have been struggling pretty bad this gen, but there is no doubt this is still a huge get for Microsoft. It may have been worth it just for Skyrim and ID Software alone. Still, it'll be a while before we see this deal come to fruition. Starfield, Elder Scrolls, and Skyrim are still years away.
I mean the memes are been written automatically on their own
Sure.... MS just gifted 7,5B $ for nothing![]()
The yields have never been that bad for N7.Not uncommon and yields improve fast. That number is probably outdated already.
DLC code that comes with the MM expensive disc version.
That's BS. I've pre-ordered the disk version of Spiderman. There IS a physical disk release. These freaking people and their dumb Tweets! Twitter TRULY is the end of civilization.
My money's on Kotaku
first of all, xbox boss clearly stated in national television that while they will honor Bethesda's current deals, after that..... it's gonna be a "case-by-case" scenario.I think you're missing where MS is going with this "Xbox as a platform" strategy. Their goal, as Microsoft does in it's other arenas, is to make 'XBOX GAMES' available everywhere. They want to become the Windows of video games. You don't do that by being restricted in platforms. 'Embrace and extend' is what they called it in the software market. Telling you, Microsoft is done with hardware if this generation doesn't turn out to be VERY successful for them.
I think this is more boost for my earlier contention that MS was going to get out of video games, then changed their minds. That's why they started buying developers again after getting rid of a ton. That's why they're 2 or more years behind in producing XSX titles from those developers. But they want their games EVERYWHERE. I really think that unless XSX and XSS seriously outperform what the Xbox One did, MS won't make hardware anymore but will focus on the games.

Microsoft’s Bethesda deal is a $7.5 billion part of its plan to crush Sony
Microsoft's $7.5 billion acquisition of Bethesda parent company ZeniMax is all part of Microsoft's plan to crush Sony.finance.yahoo.com
then, about the part of your post that I bolded....
basically this is what happens when one believes in all the stupid rumors that serve as easy to consume foolish fanboy ammunition:
after one point you may lose touch with reality.
these rumors were fired up and runned wild at 2017. think about that...
we are talking about the same year microsoft launched xbone x, a truly fantastic piece of a toy, started working full-time on this generation hardware,
and steadily focused on their software offer & production, strategically pouring billions. gamepass came, a hoard of first parties came, a total revamp of infrastructure and aiming came, today's news came, and you can bet all you want this is not the end of the efforts. in fact, we are far away from that... we are about to see the start of those 2017 efforts come to fruition.
Quantum Error is coming to Xbox Series X
I'm excited for a certain vet's return tomorrow.
I think I'll be fine tomorrow lol
