I don't think he tries to imply that.If software could achieve actual real world high SSD speeds that easily, Sony would have went with a standard off the shelf SSD too and saved some money. I wouldn’t base development testing on anything. You can achieve a lot of things when doing early test. Full game running is a different story.
In any case, whatever tricks SX is doing in software PS5 already does faster in hardware. With software aided like Kraken it’s even faster.
Jim Ryan did an interview with Arabian site '' true gaming ''
he spoke about a lot of stuff around support for middle east and stuff... but they ask him about playstation exclusives coming to PC
and he answered: we will do games on pc in this age of high costing production and blockbusters games but we will do it in a manner that
does not piss off our playstation fans as they are the most important for us
good stuff

It's Microsoft after all, if you ever came across their development tools, outside the consoles, just anything. You simply know. Or hell, Windows itself. This whole "tools" argument is a bit odd. If the tools weren't ready then what the heck were MS building Halo Infinite with? That was their flagship launch game for the next gen, their killer app. Would they really risk delivering the next gen Halo experience with an incomplete tool set that wouldn't let them identify bottlenecks and things that weren't as optimal as possible?
Hey, maybe they did risk it, which would explain what we saw and the reaction from gamers?
I'm wondering, how are the download speeds on next-gen consoles from XBL/PSN compared to current-gen? Because I haven't seen it being discussed anywhere yet. Are they the same, better? I saw once a tweet mentioning that PSN bandwidth is getting quite a boost on the PS5, but haven't read anything about it ever since, it it true? Can you guys share you ISP connections and te download speeds you are getting on your PS5/XSX?
Guys I have Razer thresher 7.1 that I used for my PS4. Now the problem is the ps5 doesn’t have an optical port, but my TV has one so can I connect the headset on my TV direct? Or should I connect the USB wireless on ps5 then the optical on TV ?! I really have no idea please help
Edit :
I connected the USB wireless and the optical on TV direct and I think that worked .. please share if there is anything extra I should do
This is a silly statement. It's Microsoft after all, if you ever came across their development tools, outside the consoles, just anything. You simply know. Or hell, Windows itself.
yes.. like horizon zero dawnSounds like a few years old ports to me.
Its very fast now on ps5, I got about 500 down and the 1 GB patch was seconds. I was like WTF
From the video...
”...people really have this thing where they think that both systems are maxed out when they’re really not...”
This guy is biased asf!
The only difference I see is on the resolution around the 9:32 mark. See the cables that hold the London Eye, PS5 has better resolution at that point. Apart from that it's absolutely identical.
Ray traced reflection are soooooooooooooo noisy.

I wish I could find a recommended 27-32 inches monitor for the PS5.
It looks like my desk setup plans are screwed?
I’m sure it will piss some off, even if just a littleJim Ryan did an interview with Arabian site '' true gaming ''

Yeah it took me like 5 min to download and install Demon Souls while also watching streams on 2 differents devices and working from home. Its very fast now on ps5, I got about 500 down and the 1 GB patch was seconds. I was like WTF
We had GAFers near suicidal over 2+ year old games coming to PC lolI’m sure it will piss some off, even if just a little
Not really, there are some upcoming 27-32" 4K PC monitors with HDMI 2.1 and high refresh rate, perfectly suitable for the new consoles:
-ASUS ROG SWIFT PG32UQX
-Acer XV282K KV
-Eve Spectrum
Huh, you're right. Not just the cables. Look at the giant wheel curvatures. Difference is big.
I would get a refund, someone has cut a big whole out the middle of it!!You can close the thread. My PS5 arrived. Look at that RT goodness!

It's a black hole, but rectangularI would get a refund, someone has cut a big whole out the middle of it!!
They definitely will. Was supposed to go up on their site yesterday morning but not sure what happened. Keep an eye out.
For a monitor, the 144 Hz ones at 4K are expensive for a monitor, getting into TV territory for a desktop.
The acer looks interesting, or get an ASUS TUF 144 hz but 1440p, should downscale fine from 4k
Difficult one, as 60 Hz output would be better on the 60 Hz panel, but you miss the 120 Hz option for some game modes.
That Eve Spectrum is supposedly ~650$, so quite a good deal for the performance, if someone is limited by space and cannot opt for the 48" TVs. Although you're right, knowing that 120Hz titles will be as hard to find as a unicorn, a 60Hz panel would be more suitable, but I guess HDMI 2.1 comes in bundle with high refresh rate.
According to them, AC Valhalla runs better on SeriesX lolI don´t follow that channel much, Please elaborate.

Ok .. is there a choice to use that tempest option? Don’t tell me I must change my headset!if you go over optical you lose your tempest option and it uses the headsets vss instead. But if it has chat mix you regain it.
Huh, you're right.

I have a large LG OLED etc for big screen gaming, wanted a small monitor 28-32" for a desk that is also good for ps5 for sons room. 48" is too big to sit at a desk.
But cant find one yet
Me sitting in front of my 55" TV at a desk disagrees. It's not good for your eyes, but hey, my vision is kinda shot anyway.![]()

I ended up settling on a monitor for productivity because the gaming monitor scene is so expensive, and... doesn't mix well with productivity purposes.I have a large LG OLED etc for big screen gaming, wanted a small monitor 28-32" for a desk that is also good for ps5 for sons room. 48" is too big to sit at a desk.
