Microsoft sent units to Japanese reviewers too though, earlier than Sony as well

I'm sorry, where do you see the second HDMI port? I see two USB, a LAN, Power and an HDMI labled HDMI Out. The hole on the top is just a lock to anchor the console in a store or similar. Why is there 2 HDMI ports? Is there one in and one out?
The article says you can only play BC games... nearly 1000 titles.
Evil Sony strikes again.Craziest thing I've ever heard.
MS doesn't have many marketing deals in place, and the ones they do have are crunching hard on the console versions (not to mention being cross-gen). Sony lucked out (or should I say brute forced their way) into a betters situation with the studios they have deals with having console gameplay ready to go. I doubt there is a big conspiracy. If CDR had the next-gen patch ready and working for launch, I'm sure MS would be showing that off.
Once the games release, Sony can't stop reviewers from showing XSX footage, so we'll see what the comparison is then.
Why is there 2 HDMI ports? Is there one in and one out?
We saw the games, we just want to see the UI and load times. That's it.Hours and hours of Japanese YouTubers just playing Astro's Playroom will be two things: hilarious.... and absolutely pathetic.
"Demon's Souls? No no! You just want to see this little white robot bastard punching daises!"
Even without the embargo seems you can only play BC games.Right, Microsoft has an embargo on content being shown other than BC. Obviously they intend to drip feed info running up to release.
OK I'm out for 5 minutes, sorryI'm sorry, where do you see the second HDMI port? I see two USB, a LAN, Power and an HDMI labled HDMI Out. The hole on the top is just a lock to anchor the console in a store or similar.
You mean 2 USB ports right? Why is there 2 HDMI ports? Is there one in and one out?
Evil Sony strikes again.
What a weird issue like Sony is paying MS to not show their own game footage lol
No. They just got lucky and more of the studios they had marketing agreements with had content ready to show. MS could show 2077, but the next-gen patch isn't ready, which would cause the showing to be inferior to what has been used to demonstrate DX12U. No conspiracy theories.
Sony is much more aggressive in the "marketing deals" space and always has been, it's easier for them to get content out because of that.
C'mon it is two USB.... one HDMI.Why is there 2 HDMI ports? Is there one in and one out?
Wait I thought the half covered vents were just the prototype box, is it really like that?
Why have all the games, with 1 exception, that Sony aligned themselves with been able to capture footage from a PS5?No. They just got lucky and more of the studios they had marketing agreements with had content ready to show. But Microsoft did show gameplay footage but that footage was running on a PC and not an XSX for the most part. Just saying that what was shown could have been shown on an XSX. Just like Sony is showing footage on the PS5.
Why have all the games, with 1 exception, that Sony aligned themselves with been able to capture footage from a PS5?
RE Village, NBA2K, Call of Duty, Deathloop, Hitman, Project Athia, Ghostwire, Oddworld, Kena, Jett, Bugsnax, etc... all running on PS5. Only exception was FF16.
Why have we seen no footage of games at the Xbox shows, whether 1st party, or any 3rd party games like Madden or Assassins' Creed, captured on XSX?
Haven't devs had PS dev kits in some form for years now? That pays dividends without question.

GDK is not enough reason to convince me. Developers were able to show games on the infamous PS3 back in 2006. XsX is supposed to be way more easier to develop for.I'm actually going with what Digital Foundry heard from their sources. Basically some developers are having issues with the XSX dev kits while they don't have any issues with the PS5s. The reason why is because moving from an SDK to a GDK is making development tricky for some. While with PlayStation the PS5 dev kit offers a similar dev environment and the PS4s so they are not having any issues due to being already familiar with it.
Then the question is, why did MS take so long to get their dev kits out?
Confirmed, seems the half covered vents are there to stay.
That's such a bullshit Twitter post. It's obvious that Sony and Marvel Studios want the video game Peter to better resemble Tom Holland. Makes perfect sense from a business and marketing P.O.V.
After Craig's backlash, 343i came with that 'artistic vision' BS to justify what was shown, then they retracted and said they would make changes, just for MS to delay the game right after that. That's a really good sign they were ready to launch 'as is' if there were no memes nor complaints.Source?
yeah I'm sure the NBA2K devs have had PS5 devkits since 2017, while the Madden devs just got an XSX devkit last month.Haven't devs had PS dev kits in some form for years now? That pays dividends without question.
you think so? you think they are not going to show cold and warm boot of the console? or how we can start and play BC games? So we can expect to see the PS5 UI in two days?
I guess it's not guaranteed...
yeah I'm sure the NBA2K devs have had PS5 devkits since 2017, while the Madden devs just got an XSX devkit last month.
Come on, think. The excuses you make could explain SOME games being shown on PCs, just like FF16 was on PC not PS5. But all the games?
Imagine if all Sony had shown captured on PS5 so far was an random indie game like Bugsnax, an Uncharted 4 PS5 port, and a Dreams demo with some RT?
There's no reason why this is anything but fucking weird. Xbox announced their console in 2019. They showed it. They've planned this for years. There's no excuse. The box ships to the public in a month.
Imagine if all Sony had shown captured on PS5 so far was an random indie game like Bugsnax, an Uncharted 4 PS5 port, and a Dreams demo with some RT?
I thought the same thing. So far, everything else shown gave me the impression that it was like the first Destiny, and the story would be kind of secondary to the loot and gameplay. It's almost like they showed off all of the trailers in reverse of what they should have. This game has a story driven campaign?
