Cancelling after the fact in protest is a bit like closing the barn door after the horse has bolted. No one on the site need bother paying for era clear anymore tbh. The first time the "Master Race" had to cope with platform storefront wars. Good times, too hard for them just to click another desktop shortcut even when they were given lots of free games that in most cases would be available on the other store as paid purchases after an exclusivity period I believe.

my guess is many of them are either
A) have a silent arrangement with cerium to keep the wheels being squeaky while the final payment clears

B) they are hoping for some sort of handout but have no arrangements

my guess is M.O.B.A is looking over the forum now and how they integrate it into their other sites (it’s not linked on their main site yet) and what changes need to be made so I’d expect whatever changes are gonna happen they will be after dec which I reckon we are gonna see part 2 of this saga when the mods realise cerium really has taken the whole cash bag and ran and resetera starts getting the same shitty ads as the rest of the network

expect some meltdowns over the Xmas period apart from the usual “I disowned my family because they voted for trump…but still live in their basement and eat all their food for free” posts

Wouldn't surprise me if there is some part of pro rata remuneration to be introduced. Maybe just a set amount of hours per week, and BDubs and admins can pull a small %age salary

not it's an old call back to one GAF user in the past boasting they had adblock and I think they got banned because of it. lol
