Thank you NFL for doing the right thing and airing the niners game in LA.. If only Washington would bench Beck and start the Sex Cannon again...
Nah, I thought that dance was weird.chuckddd said:
Sums the game up much better, imo.

NFL 2011 Week 9 |OT| My faith in Rivers is restored with this game. Dude is still legit.
NFL 2011 Week 9 |OT| Release the Kraken!
I'm biased towards the second but the first one is too good not to use.
:jnc18. Chargers (No. 10; 4-3): If Philip Rivers ever gets a chance to lift the Lombardi, theres now a good chance hell drop it.

Everyone says he's healthy, but if he is hurt, I would bet that it was the shot to the sternum that he took during the Patriots game. He seemed pretty shaken by it at the time.bionic77 said:Have there been any reports yet on what is wrong with Rivers?
It is obvious there is something wrong with him and they are hiding it, but if he can't even hold the ball properly it makes sense to bench him and hope the team stays afloat for him to come back healthy.
Nightz, why must we suffer while watching our chargers?Nightz said:Everyone says he's healthy, but if he is hurt, I would bet that it was the shot to the sternum that he took during the Patriots game. He seemed pretty shaken by it at the time.

That is bullshit that he is healthy. He used to have a perfect release of the ball and now it looks like he is sidearming a bowling ball down the field (i.e. a Tebow). Not to mention his total inability to hold onto the ball.Nightz said:Everyone says he's healthy, but if he is hurt, I would bet that it was the shot to the sternum that he took during the Patriots game. You'd think they'd show a game between 2 division rivals instead of a game with a team no one but freaks that fantasize about getting shit on by Alyssa Milano cares about.Grover Cleveland said:Dem's fightin' words.

Defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh regarding his visit with NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell:
"I am very appreciative of the opportunity to sit and speak with the Commissioner and his staff to clarify a few questions about my play, and the game in general. I have gained a better understanding how I need to continue to play the game to help my team win.
"I look forward to the rest of the season and the doing everything we can to bring the Lombardi Trophy to Detroit."
Suh said:Nothing of any consequence.
Seems kinda bad to me. CJ is so damn consistent.Futurevoid said:So what do you think about this trade, guys?
Calvin Johnson and Jermichael Finley for Cam Newton and Larry Fitzgerald.
I have Schaub as my starter right now and he's /ok/ but Cam would be an upgrade for me. I'm pretty set at tight end with Fred Davis and I've got Ballard as a backup. Not keen on trading off Megatron though.

Don't worry, Tom Brady will see alot of it on Sunday.Milchjon said:Ok, stupid question: What's this Kraken thingy about? I was away from GAF all sunday and now I'm out of the loop...
I'm guessing you didn't watch the game either.Gully State said:During the Giants game, Dan Dierdorf enthusiastically yelled out "Release the Kraken!" on a Giants score (or was it a first down...having a hard time remembering...just remember hearing Release the Kraken).
Yeah, but then so is Cam. Hence why I'm struggling to pull the trigger.Trasher said:Seems kinda bad to me. CJ is so damn consistent.

So true, Lance ;(Jerry Jones is notorious for meddling in his team's affairs, and at least one notable Cowboys fan has grown tired of it.
Seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong, who was born in Dallas and lives in Austin, tweeted an apparent shot at Jones late Sunday night following the Cowboys' 34-7 beatdown by the Eagles on national television.
"'If' I had a few hundred million bucks I'd buy the Dallas Cowboys then get the hell outta the way," Armstrong wrote on his Twitter account.
