NFL 2012 Week 2 |OT| The Replacements

Well, that was a fairly disastrous end to the first half for the Bears. Between the Carimi call, the fake field goal and that interception, I think the Packers managed to wrap this up. I really hope the Bears can make the necessary adjustments to handle the Packers D.

Let's go Bears.

Mission #1: Protect the Quarterback

Look at all the changes they've made to the O-line since last year!

Mission #2: Run the ball

9 carries

And people getting high on the Bears after beating....
  • The worst team in the league last year
  • at home
  • With a Rookie Quarterback
  • With the best pass rusher injured
  • and a starting WR injured.

Idiots

The Bears have continually neglected the offensive line for years. Adding Marshall and Jeffrey was a good step for helping the receiving corps, but I will never understand why the coaches are cool with having the league's worst line every year.

I knew the talking heads were full of shit when they were talking up the Bears in the preseason. I don't think this is a bad team, but the offense won't ever be worth a shit as long as there is no line and the playcalling continues to neglect the run and put Jay in bad situations.
