Panthers fans: Is Frank Alexander playing? I was kind of stunned he only went in the 4th round. He was never going to be a stud but he's was too steady to go in the 4th. Really held point of attack well and had a decent bull rush

Anyone listen to Tuedays with Aaron yet? Is it worth the listen?

fucking S key has something under it. Why wouldn't it be a Q key or something that is never used. Blech

Got Manning going tonight. I wonder how much Nicks is going to hurt his production.

Will probably keep TE Bennet and WR Lafell on the bench, but I'm hoping for a good 3rd week of results.

Bennett is going to get a ton of looks with Nicks out. He's scored TD's in the last two games and has averaged about 14 points. Unless you've got a better TE option, I wouldn't sit him but then I generally suck at FF anyways so...

With Nicks out, Bennett's going to be one who has to step up and will probably get more targets.

Ha oh man Greg Lewis. He was on the Eagles seemingly forever and always I read about how in training camp he looks amazing, can't drop a pass even if he wants to, and he always made the team. Then he would produce nothing on the field. Those were the days. It was bad enough we had guys like Pinkston, Fred Ex, and Thrash but Greg Lewis was always there too.

Then one season when we went into week 1 with no PR, Reid had the brilliant idea of sticking Greg Lewis as our PR. First game of the season, against the Packers, he muffed two punts. He also had a huge drop in the NFCCG against the Cards in 08-09.

Fuck Greg Lewis.

Man I put my name down on some paper list at Gamestop before I left for a 10 day trip to Europe. While I was gone the system release date was announced. I come back and go to Gamestop to confirm the reservation and they tell me they called me repeatedly while I was gone and since I didn't reply they gave my reservation to someone else. Oh well I guess I won't be getting one at launch. Really wants.

EDIT: BTW in ChuckD's league I am trading away Ridely for Greg Jennings. Good deal? Ridley is #3 RB in a league that only starts 2 RBs and has no flex spot. So its 1 QB, 3 WRs, and 2 RBs. My two starting RBs are D. Murray and Ray Rice. Need help at WR.

The Wii U just doesn't excite me in the slightest. I give Nintendo credit for hiring third parties to make new IPs for the system. Mostly because they rarely do anything innovative with their more popular series, like 2D Mario. ZombiU would excite me if I hadn't played a billion other zombie games in the last three years.

I'm curious how much playing time Barden will see tonight if any. Someone called WFAN just now asking about Jernigan.

Also just don't tell the Gaming side if you intend to buy a Wii U to flip it or they'll want your head.

It was pretty good actually. He was informative on some of the differences on how teams play cover 2, describing how Bears play differently with the safeties covering the middle of the field a bit more than the traditional cover 2 because the corners will cover a little deeper than just the flats.

Was pretty funny too. Loves picking on Wilde

Yes, he's playing. He's the third DE in the rotation, and for my money, was the best d-lineman in the Saints game. Very active, got a lot of push and batted down several passes. I'm excited to see how he develops.

They only have 4 wide receivers at this point, so one of those two guys will certainly see the field at some point.

I'm guessing Barden will be the more likely one, since Jernigan wasn't even active for the Bucs game and Barden was actually on the field for a few snaps.

I hear that, but I have Tony Gonzales too and Matt Ryan has been on fire as well. I'm sure in the end I will fuck it all up.

lol, they just agree with me 100% too. I sent them a tweet about how they had carried his water forever and he's in a lot of trouble if even ESPNM is ripping him. They laughed and were like "yeah, totally. No more free pass for that clown"

Damn man that sucks, I'm actually really excited for the Wii U. This is my first console at launch, plus I have no systems right now haha. Traded in my 360 for the preorder while trade in deals were going

Cool. He's never going to be a super speed guy but he's got a big frame and with an NFL weight room could really develop into a solid run player. Loved him at OU.

I wish I could see it that way but unfortunately the Jets are always the Jets in my eyes... The light of Tebow is not quite strong enough to overcome such an intense level of darkness, sadly.

I am guessing you didn't play Wii Sports, Mario Galaxy, Kid Icarus or a shit load of DS games released in the last gen?

Nintendo is pretty innovative at times. The WiiU seems cool, but honestly I am more into the 3DS at this time (even though I barely have time to play it). The DS was clearly the best system last gen. It was the successor to the PS2.

Being part of console launch is a lot of fun, especially if you are part of a game forum or have friends getting it. I think the most exciting launch (not best console) was probably the DC, at least in recent memory. Man that thing made the internet explode. Not to mention it had a lot of good games and some really innovative ones (NBA2k).

Random observation: Every QB in the NFC West is mediocre (or worse) and every head coach is good (or great). Also, every team is at worst competitive. Does this division make the argument that coaching is as important as quarterback play?

Who would you rather have: a great coach or great quarterback
