I'm glad that even one of our shittiest games, we still pulled it off. Typicall we just blow it as hard as we can in the 4th qtr.

Eh, we had a weak ass game against the Vikings (who, admittedly, have only lost one game) too. Sometimes good teams have down games.
After their play the last two weeks, I'd put the 49ers on top.

Vikings are the best team in the NFC North and they actually look like a good team. Niners beat the Jets 34-0. The Texans need to beat some good teams before I think they can beat the Ravens or Pats.
Good teams put away bad teams. The Jets were never really put away.

As much as I'd like to take credit for our drubbing of the bills, some of that has to be on the bills D. Our offense is improved from last year, but its not *that* good. Although it is heartening to see that we stomped the fuck out of the jets and the Texans struggled, tells me it wasn't all on the Jets being terrible. Still real worried about the niners lack of a pass rush this season, not sure what changed, but we aren't racking up the sacks like we did last year.

I didn't like this win one bit. This shouldn't have been as close as the score projected. We let the Jets be in this game up until the final play. A win is a win but fuck Gary Kubiak and his bullshit playcalling in this game.

9ers haven't really beat anyone of note either. Every team they've played outside of the Vikings are losing teams.
It's basically Eli and Watt for MVP. You take him off that team and it changes everything.
I really liked him coming out, thought if he was more athletic he was a no brainer top 5-8 choice. In hindsight he had plenty of athleticism, but playing on that Wisconsin DL did him no favors. QBs were able to step up or move around his pursuit because no one else on that line could contain or collapse. It may have looked like he couldn't close the deal but really wasn't the case, didn't have enough help.

yep i was way off. but this was basically the colts game from last year, only they won it this time.
that said, the texans ST are a disaster and it was so obviously going to be a problem but for some reason they didn't address it. holiday isn't even a cfl player

i don't disagree. we had a bad game against the vikings. if that game is played in san fran i think we win it. i don't put too much stock in the texans playing a close game with the jets but i think just like all teams the texans have some holes. there is no such thing as an unbeatable team in the NFL

I predict the Broncos will win the Division going 6-10. And win because San Diego, KC and the Raiders are 5-10 with one tie. I have faith in playoff berth gifts.

I don't get to see every team as much as I want to. So all I had to go by was highlights, and the media. From the little I saw, and the media talking it looked like the Texans were the most balanced/best team in the AFC. I thought their defense was going to be like SF, and just smother the Jets. I wasn't sure if the Pats could score on this defense, but after watching tonight's game the Pats have a shot. Still don't like the Pats oline against Watt.
Relax I'm not shitting on the Texans.

Nah. The Ravens are still the better team especially with Suggs coming back soon. I would be more worried about getting swept by them if I was you. If any team looks bad that was a contender it is the Steelers.
