Run-oriented coach like Gary Kubiak could fit Ravens' profile, according to one source. Lot of interest in the job. Fluid process

Interesting if it happens. Of course we play the Ravens next season......Houston Football Curse lives!

He looks like a champion, atleast he's not on a team that finished last in the NFL..

Actually he only played like 4 games this season. But bravo to you sir! Feel better?

Leinart says Kurt Warner -- not Whisenhunt -- ran Cards

"I don't think it's a great fit, and I don't think it's great timing, and here's why," Matt Leinart told Fox Sports Live this week, per ArizonaSports.com. "You look at his tenure in Arizona -- only two years, he had success, and in those two years, Kurt Warner ran that football team -- I was a part of it.

"Every single Monday, Kurt Warner would come in and implement 20 to 30 new plays, which he would say, 'I want these in my game plan.' We became a spread offense and we became Kurt Warner's offense. Then Kurt Warner retires, they go 5-11 twice and they go 8-8."

Nice. See Texans...nothing to worry about.

Well... maybe you know some goodlooking ladies so we could field test the hypothesis?
I know plenty of good looking ladies but unfortunately none of them are cheap $5 dollar whores who are looking to get face fucked by some nerds on the internet.

If you want that type of girl you probably need to go to Florida with a good supply of meth and/or Oxy*.

* No guarantees on the good looking part while in Florida. But I do guarantee that they will be compliant as long as you have a nice supply of drugs!

Sounds like Kurt Warner needs to become a OC
I don't buy it. He was a damn good OC in Pittsburgh. Brilliant play calling during our first run to the SB and same when he took the Cards to the SB.

He is just a shitty judge of quarterbacks. He needs a team that is ready to go.

I thought I had played in some loud atmospheres in college at N.C. State, but nothing could have prepared me for our Week 9 game against the Seahawks at CenturyLink Field. In most NFL stadiums when you’re on the road, it gets loud on third down and whenever you’re in the red zone. But in Seattle? It’s loud on every single down, no matter where you are on the field. It feels like there’s someone with a megaphone screaming in your ear. Only it seems more amplified than a megaphone. The deafening noise has a lot to do with the architecture of the stadium, but you have to give those fans a lot of credit.

Disappointed not even an interview after 7 straight full seasons of top 10 D with 3 different teams. Last 5 times as D C= playoffs1st yr

Wade, you are now looking pathetic. Please stop and save your dignity.

Perhaps, I still think Kurt should get back into the game on some level though.

Jets ST coordinator jumps ship to Washington:

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/01/15/redskins-lure-jets-special-teams-coach-away/

According to Alex Marvez of FOX Sports, the Redskins are hiring Ben Kotwica as their new special teams coach.

The Redskins were the worst kind of tire-fire on special teams last season, with what seemed like weekly breakdowns and big plays for opponents.

Kotwica had been offered a contract by the Jets, but his willingness to leave speaks to the relative lack of security there under coach Rex Ryan, who has yet to get a contract extension despite the team’s announcement that he’s returning next year.

If someone is updating the neogaf fan roster thing put me down for the Lions.

Also I clicked the link above for the new thread and it opened some MLP thread. Now my internet history is corrupted. No amount of clearing cache will wash that away.

Well, in regards to Donald Brown, I don't mind getting rid of him. I would have liked to have kept him, but have trouble falling in love with a guy who decides to perform like he did in a contract year when he's been in the league since 2009.

THAT SAID, I hope this means Vick Ballard is healthy. I understand and agree with giving Trent Truck a full offseason with the team and a full year to show his worth, but I saw absolutely nothing this year. He had two runs in the post season that were magically bad. The Browns of all teams gave us the ole hand banana on that trade. Worst RB I've seen. Would rather have Kenton Keith.

I wouldn't be heartbroken to see Bethea go. I'd love to see Landry cut, but he's safe. Satele and McGlynn HAVE to go, this should be the first two moves of the offseason. Toler as well. Cutting Satele and Toler would free up about 6.6 million. Obviously DHB is gone.

Free agency wish: would love to grab either Alex Mack or De La Puente from NO if possible. Anything but Satele really. Then a ILB, CB, DT, WR, and RG through the rest of FA and the draft.

Bethea was garbage this year, yet there's hints of him staying. I see no benefit of having two over aggressive Safeties who bite on everything. I think their tackling numbers were good though. Toler was really inconsistent this year, getting torched on some deep plays- even when healthy. I'm still conflicted cause of the Broncos game where our corners played lights out and Davis had probably the best game in his career.

On defense, we should really focus on getting Mathis some help up front, cause lord knows he was our only pass rusher. Keep Redding, he isn't a big threat, but does close up some running lanes and disrupt the pocket from time to time.

Why would the Colts resign Donald Brown? Running backs are so cheap and plentiful in the draft and there will be plenty of UDFAs with potential. I imagine more teams will be following the Patriots and Packers in drafting two RBs and letting them compete with a veteran. In addition to a potential rookie addition, the Colts have Ballard and Richardson. Easy decision to let Brown walk.

We don't need RB's dude. We need a WR (replace DHB) and some O-linemen. Resign Brown, then you have Ballard, Brown, and Richardson. Sucks that he waited for a contract year to actually start performing to his talent. But he has won games for us this year- and has room to improve. He doesn't get hurt often, he doesn't turn the ball over much, and averaged like 5ypc this yr. Ballard coming back from injury will probably revert to the fumble machine he was and Richardson still has a gigantic question mark on him.

Another RB in my eyes would be a waste of a pick. The O-line should come first. Worse thing about this is I don't even know where to begin on defense. EDIT: Just remembered we have Werner, looking forward to seeing him play next year. He shows some upside.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
As if Lions news hasn't been bad enough recently, big rumors popping up that the new OC will be...
