Just ordered, will report back.

Have not been there in forever (will take the kids this year or next) but tower of terror was the bomb when we went. I also saw my first HDTV that visit.

The new Star Wars ride is high on my list. Will see if I can convince them I am 10 and do that thing where you fight vader.
Cool. Looking forward to it. Mind asking what it cost? I tried booking through Disney and good god they are overpriced as hell. The guy wanted to charge me $3500 for hotel and the hopper tickets with a basic dining plan. That's without flight.

I jumped on a few travel sites and Travelocity let me book the flight for 4 (My wife and I and our two daughters), the hotel for a week and the hopper tickets for the same price. With insurance for the trip, too.

Officially booked my family vacation.

This July, we going to Disney World.:D

World is Florida, right? I'm taking my kids to Disney______ (the California one) in March.

Florida Disney > California Disney , but at least I can drive to the one here.

And yeah, the Disney hotels are incredibly expensive. I did that the first time, but this time, I'm staying like a .25 mile walk from the parks for 1/4 of the price.

I am the wrong dude to ask.

I took a cousin who never went in 2000 and we went with a few friends. Stayed in some dump in Kissimmee and it was cheap. This was like 2000 and prices were under 100 for the park. We got the maps beforehand and used the speed thing to maximize things so we saw everything (it gives you a time to come to popular rides so you plan it and go to some lower tier rides before your time comes up). Seeing everything in one day/park probably won't work for kids. It was tiring for us.

The fireworks were amazing at all the parks.

One thing we didn't so that you will with your loss is the posing with characters. I imagine that will take some time. Again requires planning as they come to certain places at certain times.

Don't buy anything from the shops there. It is all trash and if you want tshirts they have the same for a 3rd the cost at a million stores off site.

I think there are some big perks to staying in the hotels (get to go in early and stay late) but I never did it so I can't comment.

Yep, Florida.

..and we're staying an actual Disney Resort. Port Orleans resort its called. Booking it through Travelocity instead of Disney themselves was half the damned price!

Edit: Here's the place:

Yeah we got the hopper tickets for 5 days so we can go to any of the parks and see everything. 5 days should be plenty of time to take it all in including the water parks. May try to hit Universal while I'm there, too.

I'm going to Disney World in 2 weeks with my family (my 2 year old nephew is going to go crazy). We might see some Pats players if we're lucky!

Have any of you been to Hershey, Penn.

Going there for a few days for a med school interview next month, never been! How is it?
