I prefer them to not blow it dead because it's such an easy fix. However if he wasn't down you can't say "oh he gets tackle at the 20, 50, or it will be a TD".

Seen it happens a few times on fumbles where teams take it back for a TD, but play was blown dead during the dive for the loose ball.
