NFL 2015 Week 9 |OT| - A Fraud Had Some Nice Shoes

He shouldn't have gotten a game at all.

Vince Wilfork did the exact same thing in 08 and got a 15K fine.

It was a dirty play obviously. Wilfork also had a history of cheap shots, so what's the difference?

Have you not payed attention to league discipline in the last couple of years? This was pretty automatic given what the league has done recently. Something from 7 years ago is going to be meaningless given the beat downs they have received publicly recently.

I told you Landry is the future.

=D
Agreed.

Oh I wasn't just talking about the offense. He's coaching as if we're the favorite in every game. We're not. We need to be aggressive and taking chances. Not slowly grinding out losses.

I agreed with you about being aggressive. It's funny, ESPN did a piece about analytics and how The Cowboys are believers. It mentioned how the Cowboys set an organizational goal to improve Garrett's game management decisions with the help of analytics. WTF, I see no change.

Then what about Pacman?

Do you happen to know why we never use play action? We're always near the bottom of the league at this. Surely with how much we like to run it could prove useful.

Sucks about Hicks. Now our top 3 picks from this last draft won't be seeing the field on Sundays. FeelsBadMan
Aggy should be back on Sunday. He was a FP in practice all last week.

Rowe is still learning the position, but the DBs are playing great, so no rush with him.

Wow can't believe I missed this. Yea I'm with you on this Godslay. If Pacman didn't get a game no way in hell Talib should miss a game.

Slamming someone's head into their helmet can only lead to a brain injury though, and the NFL doesn't care about those. Poking someone in the eye could lead to real damage though.

I didn't think Talib would get suspended after how they handled the Pacman incident. They're way too lenient in both cases. They probably started harsh so they could have it reduced to a game check or something on appeal. Sure would be nice to have him out of the lineup against KC on Sunday, though.

Colts being inconsistent is all the more infuriating that they're cheesing out stupid wins.

They play well against good teams and bad against bad teams. If they make the playoffs, they'll lose unless they face Denver.

In the NFC, I think round 1 features Seahawks @ Giants with Seattle winning at this point. Minnesota will face Green Bay and lose, setting up SEA-CAR and GB-ARZ then a CAR-ARZ rematch from years ago.

Hicks is a true badass, will be missed greatly. Eagles played one hell of a game last night, buried Dallas and their chances. What does a Dallas fan do but look towards draft, pathetic season to be over already

When Romo was QB, I assumed it was because he is not comfortable having his back turned to the defense and adjusting once his head gets around. But now I have no idea.

I would guess Garrett and Co are a bit more calculated deciding when to break tendencies. They like to take shots off of PA with that Post/Cross(Over) concept out of heavy run sets. I would like see more PA as well.

Just be consistent is all I ask.

I'm fine with suspensions or fines as long as they fit the act and are consistent. They never are in the NFL though. That's the problem.

In light of the Pacman incident, Talib shouldn't be suspended. Pacman's was more egregious.

Talib can always say he was trying to channel his inner Captain Insano

Hmmm both actually.

You hate Christmas? Why?

Well the activity for the thread this holiday season is to have Chris discover the meaning of Christmas..

6. Big Ben sprained his foot and now he's getting even more time off. Extending his career- smart. Now I dont want to sound like Im a medical expert but maybe if Ben hadnt put on approximately a million pounds during his 4 weeks recovering from a knee injury maybe his metatarsals his X-ray wouldnt literally look like this ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Serously Bens doctors orders are going to be literally "stay off your feet" for the next 4 weeks which is extremely bad news for his wasteline. Bens going to be the first QB to have to need a perscription chinstrap to put his damn helmet on.

b/c Ben has been looking like he was on the Lacy diet recently. Most older players embrace fitness and diet in hopes of extending their careers. He was never a thin guy, but he's probably legit husky now

Maybe he's training with stafford.

The league made a mistake by not suspending Pac-Man. Should they now compound that problem by letting Talib off with a fine as well? And where does this end? What can a player on the field do to be suspended, considering that Pac-Man got away with slamming an opponent's head into his helmet? Is that the bar going forward? An incident has to be worse than what Pac-Man did to Cooper to warrant a suspension and anything less gets a fine?

And what is "worse" or "better" than Pac-Man's outburst?

Did they make a mistake for not suspending Wilfork for doing the same thing? Or when Timmy Jernigan eye gouged Tom Brady last year?

Remembering Carl Davis, I forgot his explosion number.

Carl Davis is more explosive than David Irving. Fuck the Ravens hard for drafting him before our selection. He was going to be the pick.
