Jags making the owl next year. Going to be too stronk
Their defense wasn't really horrible. It finished 16th in ppg. The offense was 14th.Yes for sure. That offense is looking primed to be great, just need a D that can get off the field.
I expect the same regarding Big Hank and JPP. I don't see them dishing out so much money on all four guys up front and with JPP's age and durability, they opt to let go of paying him handsomely and keeping the big boys in the middle. Sounds like Goodson is on the rise and got more PT as the season wore; that said they still need to address the LB situation. Maybe they re-sign Keenan Robinson but even so he has a questionable history on his health.Giants cap for 2017.

I would expect the team to be active in securing a guard or tackle in free agency. My belief is that Hankins will be resigned and JPP likely will not given the money commitment the team has made to Vernon. It's also a good opportunity to look at locking up Pugh long term as well.

E: should of Used Braxton Miller. He's on the team right?

That is really surprising. The few Titans games I watched, to see how MM was doing, it seemed like they moved the ball down the field no problem but they D couldnt get the big stops that they needed.
Well depends if kyle even wants him or not, also Kaep had yet to opt out.Give up 2 first round picks for a QB when the majority of our roster is trash. Lol
We have holes everywhere, a QB is not going to help. I still say we re-sign Kap for a year and draft a QB this year. We need help everywhere, Cousins doesn't do anything for us... neither does Pip for that matter.
3 wins away from a SB is close.Texans are Superbowl contenders if they had a 14th ranked offense.
Braxton's arm is dead even if they wanted to do that.,Texans would be playing this weekend if they had a QB

I wonder how many qb's could have lost that game against the Pats.Texans would be playing this weekend if they had a QB

MM just needs to stay on the field. Can't be a force in a walking boot.Titans get a solid D and they are going to be a force to be reckoned with.
They would be in the Championship game with Bradford. BOB was wrong.I wonder how many qb's could have lost that game against the Pats.
Brock should at least be proud that it is not a big list. He is elite at something!

Sometimes you gotta make an offerYesterday you wanted a first as well. Tomorrow he can be had for a 3rd at this rate

He gets pushed back at the LOS far too often. That isn't his strength. It worked well with Chip cause we were always moving and we needed someone to block at the 2nd level, which he is great at. With Doug running the show, and Kelce only being 280ish lbs, he's just not big enough to get the job done. How many times this year did he get pushed back and the pocket would instantly collapse on Wentz? On yesterdays BGN podcast they had one of the Eagles beat writers on saying that they wont find any trade partners and that they are going to cut him. It is going to be Chip's last year all over again, cut a guy on the OL and then the replacement gets hurt and you are totally screwed. I get that they are in terrible cap shape this year and need to fill a ton of holes but it sucks to get rid of a guy that is at least solid and have to trust an unproven guy.
Carryover image
Considering the health of our QBs by the end of the year..And people say tanking doesn't happen in the NFL.
Considering what the Browns fielded for an offensive line, I wonder if the Browns QBs would have standing for a workplace safety violation.
Does that carryover affect the minimum cap calculation in the CBA?

I believe, may not be correct, but whatever you carry over can be used above the current cap. Only that one year though.

There is a minimum salary floor you have to maintain in the NFL. One source on the internet says it is 89% of the salary cap. Yet, there must be more to it because that would mean your minimum salary would be about $140 million, or $15 million less than the salary cap. And many teams were under that. I am just confused.
The ramifications of not hitting the floor are based on a 3 year average before you get penalties. It gives teams some flexibility to play with salaries
With the cap rising like it is the league needs to seriously consider raising the roster limit from 53 to 60 and gameday rosters from 46-53

Thanks for the explanation. Seems like that would mean that the 49ers, Jaguars, and especially the Browns need to spend major money next year. If you have to average 89% they have a lot of making up to do.
John Spanos kept mocking Qualcomm's video replay board in the presser introducing Anthony Lynn.
SDSU notably offered multiple times to help fund, upgrade, and replace said ancient board. Chargers declined every time
Packers sign CB Bené Benwikere to the practice squad
The Eagles threw the 6th most passes in the NFL and ended up with the 24th most yards passing this season. That is an insane stat to me. I cant believe the discrepancy was so large. Obviously a lot of the blame falls to the WRs, but doug calling so many passes at or behind the LOS also contributed to this. Wentz's accuracy, especially down the field also seemed to suffer as the year went on and definitely played a part.
grats to Vrabel and Romeo
Gonna be interesting
I posted the Dega signal this morning and you didnt respond. I was hungry and it was flooding.
This is just the rollover. Browns are adding 50 milion!
The Cleve can almost sign a completely new team and have all those draft picks.
EDIT: The Browns will have 108 MILLION dollars of cap space. 108 MILLION! Last year I think the Raiders had the most available at 80
