But I want the Bengals to lose!!! Another ass whoopin in wildcard would be too much for this year. However, a top 8 draft pick like Barnett or Foster, that would be what we need to win in playoffs. Plus we got some injured rookies who come back and should help (William-Jackson 3, Billings). The draft tank should be on, except the Browns, we ain't losing to those shit buckets.

Way more ICO. Basically a role reversal of ICO. Not many large setpieces like many Colossi felt in SotC. Climbing around on Trico is a lot sketchier than Colossi because there's no dedicated grip button, although I instinctively held R1 for the majority of the game.

Some observations:
1.) I said probably about 3-4 weeks back that only one out of the Giants, Redskins and Vikings would make the wildcard. Still think that's the case with the Giants being the team that makes it. The Packers, unfortunately, will most likely be the 6th seed.
2.) One of the reasons I don't think the Redskins will make it is they are a locker room full of ego personalities. That is the case of every team in the NFL but Jay Gruden is an egomaniac as well and your Head Coach should not be.
As a Head Coach you should not go to the media leveling complaints about your team. Ever. Mike Zimmer did it about 5 weeks back RE: his O-Line and I said then it would backfire. It did, you just can't do that when your the head of a Professional Football locker room.
3.) Jim Caldwell has to be a candidate for Coach of the Year. Have you heard much of Bruce Arians? All these boisterous coaches who give these loud mouthed press conferences.
Jim Caldwell benched Matthew Stafford against the Cardinals last year in what was probably the worst loss in the Matthew Stafford era. He benched Golden Tate against the Bears Week 3 this season. He benched first rounder Laken Tomlinson for a rookie in the middle of the season. That's how it gets done and the players have adjusted accordingly.
Lions fans, myself included, gave Caldwell a ton of shit especially last season. But he's been incredible this season keeping the locker room together despite the disastrous 1-3 start.
4.) There is not a single team in the NFL that wants to face the Detroit Lions. I can confidently say we can and will beat any team that comes our way.
Send the Cowboys, send the Seahawks, send whoever the hell you want. The hand of Matthew is guiding this team and that trumps all.
5.) Battlefield 1 is amazing.

I know that fantasy playoffs are about to start and nerds everywhere are looking for even single point but maybe he needs to see the forest for the trees and think about possibly protecting our best player on offense?

I still think the wait was worth it, but there's some niggling things that hold it down some. It was a given it would be closer to ICO than Shadow of the Colossus from trailers and demos. It honestly doesn't have a lot in common with SotC that didn't come from ICO.

It has a grip button - the o button. That's part of the issue though, you're not required to hold it down. Just press o to hang on and you're done. Hit x to release. This causes issues in that the animation you're in can be confusing as to whether your gripping or not. So you go to make a jump and you end up jumping around Trico's body instead of the ledge. It also doesn't help that the o button becomes the pet button as soon as your gripping as well. They could have resolved the issue by forcing the player to hold the o button and release to drop off. Move the pet function somewhere else. Also, the camera can be unruly as fuck at times.
I'd agree this is much Ico than SotC. Except you're Yorda now. I actually like that a lot. The complaints about Trico's AI? At least through 4 hours, I'm not seeing it. If you pay attention to what he wants, he does exactly what you need him to.
He wisely set the limit as either their first win or the end of the season.

The issue with the AI comes when puzzles become a bit more obscure. You think you know the answer but aren't certain. You try it but he's a bit unresponsive. After a minute it doesn't work, so you try something else instead, when that actually was the right way and you needed a little more patience.
