Pitt fans are on such a high from beating NE and the bandwagon is moving too fast to even argue with them. Ricky Williams officially seeks reinstatment

Quarterback Byron Leftwich is visiting noted sports orthopedist Dr. James Andrews Tuesday and he may require season-ending surgery on his injured left knee. Leftwich was injured just before halftime of the Jaguars' loss to Houston Sunday, but after missing two plays he trotted back onto the field without asking the coaches' permission and played the remainder of the game. Following the contest, Leftwich said he thought he would be fine, but he felt pain Monday afternoon and was sent to see Andrews by his agent. The Jaguars expect to update Leftwich's condition Tuesday or Wednesday. They are currently on the bye, with their next game slated for November 14 against the Lions.

Robert Porcher retired yesterday, which sucks.

What's my team turned into? The Lions have been losing my whole life but it's like recently they're not even likeable anymore. Well I like Roy, and CRog and Bly are fun. Other than that it's not even fun watching them anymore. It's from top to bottom too from Millen to the boring overrated Mariucci(I'll never call him Mooch) to Joey Oregon. Even 3 years ago when they were TERRIBLE with Mornhinweg and Batch they were somewhat exciting. Now they're 4-3 and nowhere near that good. When they lose it's a blowout and when they win it feels like a slow slide into death.

Anybody know of another team to start following? The Lions are the most depressing franchise off all time.
