seems like andersen might be playing

wow the leafs dont trust enroth lol

I read somewhere that Enroth and Andersen both were traditionally slow starters and have the same sort of ups and downs in play as the season goes on. Problem is Enroth hasn't played enough games to get into any sort of groove.

5 goals on the best defensive team in the league is pretty good. Giving up 4 isn't great, but the Canucks iced the youngest blueline in the league last night.

Burkie is doubling down on Rielly being their #1 in that draft lol

I wouldn't get too excited about scoring 5 on the "best defensive team". Dubnyk has been the reason for that.

Preds place Bitetto back on IR, sign D-man Adam Pardy to a 2-way contract.

Good thing that the Preds have a long break, it's going to be bumpy for a minute.

That's some quality penalty box rage from Shaw. Number one so far this season. I like the mix of sheer stick brutality and use of colorful language. Him punching the sticks on the way to the locker room is a good little bonus.

Bolded teams are in cities with no NHL team before 1991

I wonder how the Blue Jackets would be ranked if they made some playoff splashes here and there. I mean when you're right next to Nashville which is constantly in the playoffs I imagine a lot of the problem is franchise failure. It's not like Columbus is in a non-hockey state. What else does Columbus have? A soccer team I think but nobody else is competing there professionally. Sure they aren't a major city that can bump up their worth by simply being in LA for example, but still. They could do much better.

Ohio State

Aren't the Forbes NHL franchise evaluations often done using estimated info? And by estimated, I mean "Teams won't let us access their financial records, so lets have ballpark estimates"

I remember me and my buddy talked about it briefly, but it doesn't matter what angle or photo you catch of Jim Benning, he just looks so unprofessional and dopey looking. Either that or he is about to burst into tears.

True. That's a bit of a hassle during football and basketball season. Is Ohio State hockey any good? Not that that would somehow be a massive competitor to BJ. It's not like college hockey in Michigan ruins the Red Wings in any way.

They have good youth programs in the area that have produced good young players but it's still quite early.

It's hard to know what the ceiling on the market is until they continue success into a consecutive season. Their last playoff run was very successful in getting people to show up. Then the next season they were doing good attendance but then the season was cratered by injuries. Then they finished it on a hot streak which led into strong attendence at first but then cratered with the 0-8 start. So that lack of enthusiasm carried over to this season.

Oh fuck

I thought you could hear me...

Yeah I did hear ya

Something's wrong with my crappy mic then...

Ggs btw, even though I played like shit

Yeah ggs, I have no idea how to troubleshoot any of that shit on the xbone. I saw your name lighting up in the party chat, but never heard anything. Thought I briefly heard you through my TV speakers at first but I dunno.

I'll be on again tonight after supper, probably around 6 est.
