Since the Great Hard Drive Failure of 2005, I've lost my good set of configs for Pete's ePSXe plugin...so could you guys please list your settings for your Video?

Ah Thanks! Just added some scanlines (personal habit) and now everything looks real purdy :b

Those settings are perfect

Note that those settings are great on most games, but not all.

Silent Hill needs different settings, as do most of Square's games.

Hmm...none of the games I've tried so far seem to have problems with these settings, though I assume that another might and that any possible problems are not going to be immediately noticable, at any rate :\

If I notice any errors, I'll see if I can take pics of them or at the very least mention them here...

Chrono Cross won't run on the latest version. It will also lock up, unless you check one of those custom hacks.

Same with Final Fantasy's 8-9. The battles will be really slow, or the frame buffer effects will be all messed up unless you use one of the custom hacks.

Nah, I played and beat Final Fantasy 8 fine early last year. It's definetly working perfect, I don't remeber any obvious errors with the game. Didn't get to play much of FF9, but for the 2 minutes I played it, it seemed ok.

Chrono Cross, however, still wasn't working. You could get it playing with the -noauto trick. On my computer, it just plain runs too fast (which you'd think would mean you could simply slow it down, but it'd slow down TOO much). I tried to figure it out, but I stopped bothering and am waiting for the ePSXe people to fix it.

Chrono Cross will run with ePSXe v. 1.5.2. Check frame rate limit, and limit it to 60 fps. Also turn on the special game fix, "odd/even hack" which will stop the game from crashing at the status screen and load screen.

I've had no problems with either FF8 or FF9...owning FF7 is bad enough...I don't want to look at it or check it so someone else will have to check that for you

1.6.0 has some trouble with CC, i think...hmm...lemme see if I can find 1.5.2

Yup, I did all that too, way back when. Still runs too fast or too slow, and everything I tried never was able to produce a happy middle. Trust me, I tried every trick on every emulation message board I could find, nothing would work.
